Are Poles Slavs 🤔 ?

I used to know that Poles are closer to Germanic. However, Wikipedia says that Poles are Slavs. Are they?

Yes, Poles are Slavic but a memorable portion of them also have German (ic) ancestry. One Polish friend of mine also said some Poles have Nordic blood :D
However most Polish people I have seen were Slavic looking rather than Germanic.

Nope I didn't, but they really look darker than Germans in Northern Germany (e. g. Hamburg)

Yes but due to parts of Poland historically belonging to Prussia, there are Poles are of Part German ancestry. Some Poles who are from Silesia may have some German ancestry.
