How can you tell if somebody’s a catfish?

There are so many catfish today it’s getting hard to tell who’s actually real
I only know a couple of obvious tips that help me determine, The first obvious one is the profile picture

Catfish usually have profile pictures like this

Real genuine people usually have profile pictures like this

The second tip is the amount of pictures they have
The more pictures the better
Also you won’t ever see a catfish in pictures with other people.. Just personal pictures.

How can can you tell the difference

Best way is a few seconds of video chatting or ask for a specific picture. Like holding a fork with left hand thumb and middle finger and other hand touching nose or whatever.

The biggest determining factor that I've found, beyond the profile pics, is that they don't know English very well at all. Also, they never know anything about the state or city they claim to be from our living in.
