Guys, what is too dressy for school?

Like if a girl wore skirts, heels, dresses and stuff to school, would she look like she's trying to hard(too dressy) or do you think it's cute/stylish?

Too dressy itself is not bad or uncool but why bother focusing too much on too dressy especially at a school even you are suppose to study and gain knowledge for your future life and career. Don't grow up too quickly and too soon and then you would 'becoming' bored at later stage (in older age).

School is usually for basic and should wear comfortably and easy, then at college you would wear be bit more dressy and then finally at employment wear too dressy. So then you will have your life to the fullness without lacking much or become too bored at early age, otherwise you will wear weirdo like Lady Gaga. LOL!

dresses are nice to see and very cute. However heels...really? Remember you have to wear them all day. Go with flats they make you look more young than an old person. Also don't go for prom dress style keep the dress or at least a skirt. Other wise good idea!

i dress in dresses and heels, or in cute boots. I live being up to date and a little dressy...well a lot dressy. it's who I am though, it grabs attention and if you wear the right clothes for you boy love it. girls will also complement you which gives you more confiedence and a better day. so wear what you want but don't throw out class

I do the exact same :) as long as you feel cute and comfortable and of course confident it doesn't matter what people think, I find girls that don't dress like it don't like it because its something different for them to judge or they will copy you, I think guys like it when a girl rocks any look she is wearing :)

I wear dresses all the time! I would just avoid the heels, it doesn't set a good example to your professors. But that's a personal choice. I love flats and tall boots :)

I only really resort to "casual" in the winter :P

Too dressy for school is when you wear any kind of dress. Don't wear heels. Heels look good on an adult woman. Stick to school girl outfits like the one Britney Spears wore. And this link

No, it's EXTREMELY cute & stylish. My Girlfriend used to always go to school that way, then change to shorts/jeans & a tee shirt/hoodie to work out or walk in the park...

Could go either way. You can wear flirty, even fancy things, but do it in a way that gives a carefree, just having fun vibe.
