There are two types of rich people. Those who worked hard to earn their current status and those who found it ready because they were born in a rich family. The first ones simply tend to forget where they came from... The second ones are those who don't know and they lack the compassion for other people because they can't relate to what they (the poor people) have to face. And a mistake that some people in this second case make is to give it all to their kids and spoil them. They forget to teach them how to earn things, how to work and how to put in effort for what they want. Those kids grow up with an attitude and the belief that the world owes them and that they are above everyone else. And those are the people that are more prone to make fun of poor people. But it is a mix of up bringing and character that leads to this.
Because of ignorance! I went to a very posh private school in England yet my nickname was common as I didn’t live in London and my parents whilst paid for my schooling didn’t give me cash to spend! I realised then that these kids were so thick! I was at the same school at them! They get given everything and are obnoxious and stupid! Silly silly people to not have treated me the same!
Right, like nobody poor judges people who are wealthier than them...
People are naturally divisive, and even among the wealthy elite, there's a noticeable rift between the self-made wealth and the inherited wealth, and also between the ones who own/run businesses and everyone else. Petty squabbles all around.
Everyone is one paycheck away from being homeless...
Most folk who earn their money feel pride those who have done nothing to earn it but given it to them then brag about their wealth... Well their idiots who will soon lose their money... Its called new money Old money makes fun of new money but never the poor... old money never flaunt their wealth... New money will rub it in your face... So while new money makes fun of the poor the old money (known as blue bloods or astrocrats make fun of the new money) while the poor make fun of the old money for living in Old buildings that smell of dust
Well for rich people they're idiots they're the kind of people that posts themselves holding money. Or posing next to expensive cars which may or may not be theirs.
These kinds of people I'd say are just lucky. They struck it rich once and act like they know everything and are Superior to everyone else. It's just a mental thing I'd say cause if you don't know what you're doing the money can go away real quick.
The wealthy tho I wouldn't say they judge or make fun of the poor. Cause some of the most successful stories started from living in very poor households. So they understand what they're going through.
However when the poor starts saying things like money will solve all their problems or the government needs to give them more money. Then they might start judging them.

A lot of rich people are jerks because they've got everything they want yet they're still not happy on the inside which makes them bitter so they put others down. I experienced that myself in my early school years - The richest girls in my class were the absolute meanest. They'd flaunt their expensive stuff with an unhappy expression and they'd put each other down behind each others backs constantly and bully me and others. Then when I got to high school with different students my new class was nothing like that and most of them weren't "rich". They rarely spoke bad things about each other and never bullied anyone and were much nicer. It must suck to have a lot of material things and have to realize that material things doesn't fix how you feel inside.
It’s usually the debt leveraged posers that do that. For example this guy that use to sell smart credit card technology internationally took a trip every year to impoverished locations to basically feel superior to all the shit hole nations. His wife didn’t work and her political views were basically in line with fascism. She wanted that model for the USA with the working class under her boot so she could go around degrading them and having them serve her. They had I think 10 houses around the world. Last year he was forced to retire and his large corporate sales income vaporized overnight. Since he was so debt leveraged and a complete fraud living way beyond his means, he’s now in the process of liquidating everything and trying to avoid bankruptcy. Fakers are so funny...
When you're that asshole who has everything, it's easy for them to look down on people with less. They see themselves as God but forget how easily they could lose it all in any situation: house burns down, fraud or identity theft wipes them out, getting fired or losing their job, etc.
That's why in my faith it says when you scorn the poor you scorn your Maker.
Probably not often, I doubt they even notice them. Funny how it is when you have money though, how quick you forget what it was like to drive a shitty old car with power windows don't work. And, how you go WTF? when you walk by a car like that. You just don't remember why people drive cars like that. The biggest reason is you don't associate it with being poor, you associate it with being ghetto which 75% of the damned time it is.

I think the ones who judge the poor is more the people who were born into a rich family and not so much those who grew up poor and worked hard like for example Lori Laughlin daughter who has a YouTube channel she grew up in a wealthy family and she made a video about how to be poor it was kind of offensive to those of us who are broke and can't afford to put food on the table at times
It is not rich people who do that. Remember, it is people of jealousy who do that. And they can be rich and or poor. I know my friends are poor and rich but they are of good heart and don't do it. My classfellows who were greedy either rich or poor didn't matter. Their attitude changed once they found out a certain person was rich almost over minute. Very few people are by heart good and not out to get someone's wealth
Rich people ain't nothing special becaue when ou come from.0 you come with more knowledge that'll double that cash and get nothing but investing and business ventures and be RICH, rich people just come with money and hire other to think for them while the rest racing for that 1% money born broke but better die rich , who cares what anyone think get yours and thn flex on with how humble you are
1st of all, what does rich people mean? I'm in the first 1/3rd of wage earners of my country and yet I make just 300$ worth of pocket money (after essentials) 2nd of all, why do poor people always demonize anyone who has any slight amount of money more than them. 3rd of all, what does it matter? They pay most of the taxes anyway and you leech off of them through social security so some of their money is stolen by the government and given to you. And not in a Robin Hood way.
I was often picked on for not having money and having certain things everyone else had growing up. I think it comes from a deep insecurity of some sort.
That's like saying all white people are racist. It's not good to lump up people like that and say something negative. It's ok if it's something positive though. Like, why do black people have such amazing skin? That's ok to do.
Having lots of money, especially if you were born into it, may engender a superiority complex, arrogance, false perceptions of entitlement, insensitivity, and lack of empathy or regard for others who have less money than you do.
I live in a village with a massive gap between the elite and the extremely poor. Never have I seen anyone of any gender or age rejecting each other for it. Maybe it depends on where you live?
I started poor, with nothing and all those rich swine who looked down on me, became very friendly with me, in a class act I pissed on their battery. I do not like pseudo fake friends or business owners.
