+1 yFirst of all, i don't really care. It's a fucking mall Santa. But Santa is St Nicholas. Father Christmas. A man. Children are expecting a man. It's something there dad can do for the kid. It's a cherished figure. Let's not ruin it like everything else simply for the sake of being "progressive".
Second of all, gender neutral isn't a thing. Unless they mean gender neutral as in a man or woman expressing themselves in non traditional ways. Otherwise, it doesn't exist. And Santa has a costume already anyway so...10 Reply

3.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Nope. Sorry. I have three children for whom a big part of Christmas is Santa and Mrs. Clause at the North Pole making toys and baking cookies and all the rest.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Santa has done the job for over 100 years, and that is good enough.
You don't touch up the Mona Lisa and you don't mess with Santa. The forward minded progressive thinking can have politics if it be the will of the bovine masses. Don't touch Santa (or the Easter Bunny for that matter)!!!50 Reply

This is some type of feminist sh*t that needs to just go away.61 Reply- +1 y
They could always set up the full Christmas house scenario where Mrs. Claus is included, I don't think it needs to "go away" there's always a way around feminist idealism...

+1 yIf it's a Mrs Claus I think that'd be kinda nice, sweet even, especially if they had them rotate but just a female as Santa, kinda kills the whole vibe. It's just he's such an iconic character & having the reliability of "Good ol' St. Nick" just lifts the burden of everything that "pre-Christmas" brings along with it. It's like your favourite hot drink. You know it's a sugary abomination & it's only every now & then but from the second you take that first sip you remember why you love it just the way it is.
20 ReplyTo me this is an issue that the adults would get agitated about while the kids would just get a buzz about seeing Santa getting a small gift, telling him/her what they want on Christmas morning.
A big part of me is going just "Let kids be kids", life will be complicated enough for them in a few years time so let them enjoy the time now.
On the whole socio political indoctrination on either side I don't get it , my generation grew up in Ireland when as soon as women had kids the majority stayed at home. I and most of my friends are very "Liberal" when if current theories were believed we should be strong traditionalist/conservative.
I believe in the expression there are far more important things to worry about and the factors that make your belief/value system are much more complex that the destruction of society because a family with two moms or two dads move onto the street.10 ReplyIts not Father Christmas anymore its Mother Christmas 😂 I think we should leave it as it is with male Santa. I celebrate Christmas because of Jesus so don’t really care who is Santa but as a woman I think we are going to far with this feminism, the point has already been made. Let’s uphold what we already have and not try to ruin life by making everything gender neutral.
30 ReplyAs a mall Santa? I don't know man... one of the main duties of mall Santas is to interact with kids, and kids have a very specific image of 'Santa' impounded in their brains: a fat man with a white beard in a red suit. I feel like if there were to be female mall Santas it might upset kids and leave them confused. Besides, if a woman wanted to dress up as a Christmas character, she could always be Mrs. Clause :p

+1 ySanta is conically male, and he should stay that way. In the UK they even call him father Christmas. If you want to give Mrs Clause a bigger role that't fine, but don't change Santa.
If you mean Jolly Saint Nick being played by a girl, I think that's fine just as long as she can play the roll well.20 ReplyI think it will hot then cool. Anyone can be santa. Some women naturally have beards. And so have a bearded female santa is not odd. Besides it will bring spice to the whole Christmas celebration. The bible says neither male nor female availeth anything in christ but faith working by love. Please beautiful amazing women you can be anything you set your mind to be even santa.
20 ReplyMaybe a Mrs. Claus instead to fit the theme? A lot of kids (like, a lot) believe in Santa. It'd be weird to have HIM be a GIRL after hearing so many stories about a him. Kids don't necessarily have to sit on Santa's lap, there are ways around your issue with that besides completely replacing the gender of the character.
30 Reply12.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Saint Nick is male. Don't mind if he sends his wife who shares his wardrobe, but she's MRS. Claus.
While I'm at it...
James Bond 007 is white male from the UK. Nothing else fits including Keanu Reeves, that I'd actually like.
But I wouldn't have minded black female Moneypenny, Naomie Harris, being 008 for one minute.10 ReplyI have been acting for 12ish years. Guys play girls, girls play guys. It's not a big deal. Like the kid probably won't even notice, and if they do they probably won't care.
That being said if you complain about it infront of your kid they will probably have a problem because you said it is a problem and that's how kids think. If Mom and Dad are this upset about this it must be a big deal.10 ReplySanta is a male though? It's like saying batman is a girl now. I get that indivualism is a issue but this is a character. You can't just change it like that. It can't be some beautiful skinny girl. It's suppose to be a fat old white man. I mean I've never even seen a black santa in real life malls. I guess black women santas are for sure out of the mix. Just leave it alone. It's like acting you can't just cast someone who doesn't look like the character.

+1 yIt's a good coseplay idea, but this feminist shits going too far, they only want the equality in terms of benefit but the second penalties are implied they pull the innocent victim girly card. Then I guess guys should also once a week have the right to do/say/feel whatever they want and to be understood 🤣😅😅😅🤯
10 ReplyFemale santa to now? Way too many forced women moments it's so dumb
60 ReplyI don’t care if there is a female Santa as long as they don’t get rid of male Santa. I just will continue to take my niece and nephew to a grotto with a male Santa.

+1 yShe's not female santa, she's suppose to be mrs. Santa claus who dresses just like him. So santa isn't being replaced.
30 Reply The second pictures where the women is supposed to be Mrs. Claus is fine. But the First is just weird
30 Reply6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Females with beards kinda weird me out. And I'm not charmed if her tummy shakes like a bowl full of jelly when she laughs.
But a sexy or even kind, motherly Mrs. Claus works.10 Reply- 3.3K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic.

Its called I have a life outside of this app. And no, because most people who are willing to sit in a wooden chair for 8 hours with children crawling all over them probably aren't doing it for the minimum wage. Women can just as easily be pedophiles too but it's not something you'll outright be able to notice because women don't have dicks.
- +1 y
Did I say that? Do you see any full time positions for mall santas? Obviously it's not going to be the cream of the crop sliding into a suit to sweat for 8 hours straight. I'm just saying there's a higher chance for pedophiles at the job level

Thank you like I literally couldn't handle one more person accusing me of stuff tonight like I was honestly about to cry before I saw that second posting haha

20 ReplyMy honest oppinion: It seems like typical modern Western retarded feminism. But as long as I can speak freely about it I don't see why they shouldn't also be allowed to play that game.
10 ReplyAs long as she is supposed to be Mrs clause and not just yet another SJW crusade
60 ReplyWell I thought the point of mall santas where to try to convince children that Santa claus is real. That's why they tend to look the same. A female Santa is really going to confuse kids if not completely point out Santa Claus is not real to them.

+1 yas in a fully obvious female santa or as a theatrical style woman playing a man? i dont see the need in not making it a male santa. just for the sake of tradition. all for equality but in some things there is little need.

You fucking leave Santa alone dammint! He don't care who you are as long as you are nice!
10 ReplyIts fine as long as she's not one of those "women are superior to men" sjws. Also, we need to remember that santa was in fact a guy with a pene and re writing history so that genders no longer exist is not an option here LOL. I have no reason to believe she is doing that so i say dgo girl!

@IronTaigaV69 It's a term used to describe the left's never ending mission to push the moral boundaries of ethical obligations to a healthy society. They call 12 year old boys who come out as openly gay. Where it's "ok" for another man to put his dick in another man's bum under a religious banner. Where do you draw the line when you have transsexual males competing in female sports only to beat them at every corner. Whats next sex with animals will be legal?
