Why do some people walk around with speakers?

I noticed that some people walk around with speakers playing loud annoying music. So I'm really curious as to why they do that.

Why? I have no clue. Maybe because they're out with friends and want to listen to it together. I just see 14 y/o doing this, even when they're alone, but since I always have my earbuds in when I'm outside it doesn't bother me.

Its for one of 2 reasons for the most part 1 becouse they are out with Friends just having fun Or 2 becouse they wanna be cool and not respecting other people in public places sadly is a little too often Seen as "cool"

Oh that’s nothing. You should’ve seen the 80’s with people walking around with huge boom boxes on their shoulders

I don't mind it. I like it. When I working 10 hour days 6 days a week nights on a huge multi million dollar Co-Gen with 4 thousand guys on sight it nice to hear some music.
