Yep that is correct you have no voice until you’re 18 if you turn 18 by the time the presidential election comes along you can vote for who’s president. But think about this my parents don’t get a say any who wins the primary election they are independent they don’t have a party and my dad is 68 my mom 70 they don’t get a voice in the primary but I do because I’m willing to call myself a Republican at least for now it’s not a lifetime thing I’m sure I’ll go back to the Democrats at some point when I feel the Republicans have become stupid right now I think the Democrats are stupid. Either way give me a very limited government

It’s not that you have no voice, you’re just not yet eligible to vote. In the meantime, while waiting to grow into your ability to cast a ballot, you can advocate for any or all cause you believe in. That is having a voice.
Until you are 18 you can't vote. There's nothing stopping you from expressing your opinion though.
That's the law. I think you should be able to vote at 16.

Because you don't live in one of the 17 states that allow 17 year old's to vote in the primary if they will be 18 by the general election. Your vote probably wouldn't have been counted seeing as their was election fraud in MA.
because your not 18 not sure when that was made a thing. but i think they would want all the votes they could get.
The voting age should really be 21. Your brain continues developing until 25 (I think) so casting a vote at 18 isn't wise.
I've still never voted because politics suck, and I have my own life to worry about. In my state if you registered to vote at least 30 days before the primaries and will be 18 by election day, you can vote in the primary.
Have you registered to vote? Why should a teenage non tax payer who's still in high school and living with their parents be allowed to vote? Do you even understand what's going on right now? It's not about having a voice, it's about having a voice of reason. You are still a child and children don't really have a voice so get over it.
That is correct. 18 is considered the legal voting age/age of adulthood in the United States.
They need to change the age requirement to the SAT requirement, for greater good :))
... If you aren't 18 yet you can't vote. It's pretty simple. Once you are, you can.
Don't vote. It is a waste of your time because there is near zero probability (less than 1 chance in 100 billion) you vote will determine the outcome.
I taught my four year old friend to say Buggar poo bum, Buggar. That's when an unfavorable event occurs.
This is just one of many ways that the man keeps you down, in your place
Yeah that's kinda weird.
I missed the 2012 election by only a few monthsThat's probably why they are thinking of lowering the voting rights to 16 years old.
If you are not 18, you can feel heavily support one candidate, if you cannot vote inspire others!
Do you pay taxes
No
You have no right tooYou have a voice it just not acknowledged by the government but can still voice your opinion
in politics-most don't have a voice-as trump's administration showed.
