And maybe some "oppressed" will say I'm being so insensitive to the history. Atom bombs? Internment camps anyone? My immediate family died and suffered. This is just one generation away from mine. It is not productive to keep fighting some cause here. It is productive to learn a way to excel -- however, that may be. I have lost sympathy here for the so-called "victims". They have made it a contest of victimhood. And there are stereotypes, sure. There are adversities, sure, But so too was there for all the people we tend to most admire -- they didn't preoccupy their time pointing fingers. They got shit done. I don't care about what words are "racist" anymore. "Nigger" and "wigger" this and whatever that. Let's laugh at these things. Or let's fight. Let's do a proper fight at least if we wanna spill blood.
Eugenic equality movement
Equality , general improvement, eugenics answers a lot of questions we just need to realize what it can do and start using it.
You're too worried about things that actually matter. We're only concerned with words here😉
I think it is racist
Forget about those poor neglected children's struggle and focus on the idea that they might hear a naughty sound
You were right the first time😕
I mean you would have to say it is racist considering the backstory of the word.
Against which race would it be bigoted?
I recommend sticking with your initial response of sympathizing with the children
It's sort of a mockery of black American culture and an embarrassment to themselves. It's racist against all humans.
What exactly makes it a "mockery or black American culture"?
They are dressed up like black people from the 90s and exaggeratedly so. I don't think it looked good for the black people let alone these guys.I remember being about 5 years old the first time I saw someone dressed like this and I couldn't hold back my laughter. My mind never changed.
What do you mean, "dressed up like black people"? How do black people dress? That could be viewed as a clear example of racism!I get what you're saying, but do you see how easy it is to get caught up in this game?
Yeah everyone is sort of racist to a point. I find that sort of black hip hop fashion to be undignified and when white people do it, it is because they are almost certainly white trash.
That's racist. No. This isn't about racism at all, since both black and white can come together in a shared hatred
The sad thing is that these are the type of people who breed the most.
Are you advocating eugenics?
It could be construed that way. Eugenics is said to have no evidence to suggest it works but the kids still have to grow up in that environment with role models like those guys. That's not good.
It's an interesting question. Eugenics leads to conflict between nature and nurture. Are we defined by birth, or a product of our experiences?
One of the larger questions
Is it racist to ask?
I don't think so.
Eww don't call them Cholo's. Real cholos don't look like hobos.
Aren't cholos Mexican?
Yea they are Mexican gangsters
They don't even slightly resemble cholos in my opinion
Yeah that's why I told him not to call them cholos.
Is it just me or is calling them that almost disrespectful to cholos?
It pretty much is offensive lol. Those guys in the picture look like hobos.
You seem pretty knowledgeable, is cholo a racist term?
Cholo is not a racist term. A cholo is a term used for a Mexican that is in a gang, mexican gangster.
Thanks. That's what i thought. I'm sure many white liberals would consider it derogatory toward Mexicans
I'm surprised by those unfamiliar with it
