I've been on this app for a couple of days now, and I've noticed that a lot of people here are transphobic. Please tell me that not all people here are

There are a LOT of Trolls and Haters on here, so you have to kind of figure out who you can trust, and who posts reasonable things! Sorry!! I don't have any control, and the Moderators, well, they pick and choose, I guess, based on some standard. . .
A lot of people here are fine with Trans people, and you are just like anyone else, if you are!
Some go to private chats to discuss personal things, if they think the trolls and assholes, I mean 'mean people' are being to ignorant, uh, I mean themselves, that most hate! LOL!!

Absolutely not all. There's just a lot of old men that are on here, typically stalking 20 something year old girls, being creepy, but they're also offensive. It's them and dudebros that are hypermasculine and insensitive. The hottest girl I've had the pleasure of meeting is trans!

No but I have also seen a lot of comments that are very insulting to the transgender community as well as racism and sexism. I wish that wasn't the case and I wish that more people would speak out against it when they see it but this type of website allows people to be anonymous and brings out the worst in people. They are emboldened to say things that they wouldn't get away with saying in real life.

I believe most of it stems from blind ignorance. People hate what they dont understand and being transgender is very complex and complicated and is something not a lot of people can imagine themselves experiencing. Unfortunately, because of this, transphobia is pretty rampant

I doubt if anyone is "transphobic," which would be an irrational fear of transexuals.
There will be fear of heights, fear of flying, fear of spiders, fear of the dark, phobias of that sort are common.
Transrevulsion, perhaps. Transavoidance, maybe. I'm not sure there is a word for making a face of distate, but it wouldn't be a phobia.

No, not all of them are. Many people here are actually very open-minded towards trans people. I've been a very active member on this site for over a year, and I've seen a lot of positive comments towards people who are transgender.

I don't think that 'phobia' is an appropriate term.
Surely, there are many who are critical or rejective about trans people. What is wrong with that? I thought that freedom of thought and speech is 'sacred'?

Wow. There is no such thing as a LOT of different words/terms... but "transphobic" really takes the cake. I guess that means: Do I have a fear of gender dysphoric people. I've never been harrassed by any, so I don't have a FEAR of them... but I AM DISGUSTED by them, and the fact that shrinks are afraid of giving mental therapy to them.

What If I think people should be legally allowed to be transexual, nor do I criticize them, but I wouldn't want to hang around a transexual person? Does that suggest transphobia?
