What do u think about indian accent? Is it annoying or amazing?

Here in US, people loved to hate Indian accents when the customer service jobs were outsourced.

Remember, Indians don't have accents in their own languages. So, this question is assuming English speaking audience. People don't even speak English the same way. Every country and every region in the US speaks English a little differently.

I think Indians speak English better among most non-english-speaking countries. Some have very little accents. Additionally, Indians learn English the British way not the American way.

Anyway, it may be a light question. But a more complex topic.

The Indian accent which the media portrays for entertainment purposes is different from what a person from Mumbai or Delhi would sound like. I find the real Indian accent much better.

Most of us suck at having an accent while speaking in English. When we speak in Hindi, it's different.

Annoying when they still can’t grasp English. I know one or two Indians who are perfect at English, therefore their accent doesn’t annoy me. But other Indians can 🇮🇳

I'm sorry but I really hate it. Especially when I'm on the phone and it's all thick and I can't understand. I hate accents in general but Indian is up there for me along with Vietnamese and Chinese and I'm Chinese myself!

It depends on the person who is talking , whether he knows English or not. Its not Indian or any other region accent
