There are plenty of Indians born in England and America, so that is is a normal accent for anybody born there. Anybody from anywhere that fakes an accent from somewhere else is a charlatan, though. If you live somewhere long enough, you will start to speak with the accent of that area. It's something that people unconsciously do and nothing wrong with that. There's a difference between faking an accent and your accent changing over time

that's very common for many people and it is a natural thing to happen... for many it is adaptation rather than adoption, and the moment they go back home or with their family it just switches back... can be funny when that happens
I saw it so many times, with my ex-girlfriends

Most of us alter or adopt accents to fit in with we want to achieve. I see nothing wrong with an Indian speaking with a very British accent or a definite Indian inflection. Both can be good to listen to.
I think you're way overestimating how much people care about what individual Indians do or do not do.
Nah. To me Indians speaking English in their own way sounds amazing. Love some of my British accents, not accustomed to hearing the American accent outside the screens.
Nothing. Unless she's hot like you. Then I'd be all "come here" 😘
Doesn't matter to me as long as everyone is happy
Are you accepting DM's?
Why should it matter what they do
I'd find it kinda odd.
