What do Europeans Think of American Accents?

Living in the U. S. for the entirety of my life thus far, I've always heard people's preferences on other country's accents. Yet I have hardly, if ever, heard Europeans' thoughts on American accents. Are they liked, and if so what type of American accent is more preferable (i. e. New York, New England, Southern, Midwestern, etc.)? Or are they generally disliked?

I like American accents.

Well, due to American culture being forced upon Europe, we are used to your general accents, thanks to your movies.
However there is nothing more dumb-sounding and hillarious as a hillbilly accent.
The American accent I do especially like however is your typical "hood accent".

I'm not really that much of a fan of them- I can't imagine picking one over another accent, but the best ones are in the northern states. I'm really opposed to the southern ones. Sorry! It doesn't mean I don't like any of you as people. D:

I like them, kind of. The average person is a bit harsh, overly 'yang' culture, probably. But the more delicate females from there are very attractive :)
