Unfortunately, she was born here. In "Oaktown" by the bay. Some of us had to suffer in Alameda County under her bitchiness.

Now the Senatewhore quite literally *slept* her way to the top, first for appointed offices, then for the campaign money for elected ones, and her track record as a despicable and dishonest prosecutor should be well known. Indeed, Donald Trump's sentencing reform proposals, which brought celebs like Kanye West to his side, were inspired by the actions of the Soviet Senatewhore Slut when she was a prosecutor.

But we DO NOT need to get distracted by falsehoods and will-o-wisps. Just like the Obamunist's mom was American, don't go down this path.

Just point out the Demunism of the Commiecrats and leave it at that. That alone OUGHT to discredit them.

According to who?

It's my understanding that due to a (controversial and not fully supported by the constitution) precedent set forth by the supreme court decades ago, she is a US citizen by birth, and at the very least, the white house has no interest in disqualifying her at this time. That might be at least somewhat because she's not a well-liked person to begin with, so keeping her on the ticket as a very likely mid-term successor to Biden is politically advantageous to Trump.

She was born in California. That makes her a US citizen.

OK, so there is some question about just what is a "natural born" citizen. That really needs to be resolved BETWEEN elections, not on the eve of an election.

In my opinion, a natural born citizen is a citizen who was born here, as opposed to a naturalized citizen. She was born here, not naturalized. She didn't need to be naturalized, because she was a citizen from birth.

As far as I know, the US Supreme Court only rules on actual cases. I don't see why that should be so. They really need to define just exactly what is a natural born citizen once and for all. But NOT during an election. This question has come up too many times recently and needs to be resolved.

Yes. I am in full agreement with some of the leading constitutional scholars that argue the 14th Amendment was never intended to create birthright citizenship.
Beyond that, I am in favor or amending the constitution to require that anyone seeking the office of the Presidency, Vice Presidency, or a seat in the Senate be the descendant of two generations of American citizens, all naturally born.

The question is not whether she's a U. S. citizen (she is). The very real legal question is whether she meets the requirement of being a " natural born citizen " as required in Article II of the Constitution. That term was defined by Congress in the Naturalization Act of 1790 and by its terms means that both of a person's parents were U. S. citizens at the time of their birth. Only one of Harris's parents was a citizen at the time of her birth.
