How would society function, if at all, if most of society was governed by women? In the schools, religious institutions, police, military, universities, entertainment, workplaces, etc. were majority women, like more women-dominating those industries compared to now.
Women also make most of the decisions, the population is still going because of immigration and women would be reproducing later in life or they have technology like artificial wombs. So equality is basically reached. And excerpt from this BBC article:

What would happen to society if the population becomes 70% women and 30% men?
They would probably implement some kind of communism/socialism and millions of people would die of starvation. The path to hell is paved with bricks of good intention. Women want to share and be caring and that’s nice. But it doesn’t work in reality. Economics is the distribution of LIMITED resources. Not everyone can have what they want no matter what the system is.
Though, in my opinion a woman has already spelled out the proper system for us. Her name is Ayn Rand and everyone hates her. But if she was the one to guide us I would back her 100%
If it was some socialist collectivist woman than nah. I would fear for my hungry belly and the lives of the majority of the population if we go the direction women tend to believe is the “fair” direction.
Lol nothing productive would ever get accomplished, the days would be fill of moral victories but absolutely no quantifiable success. Infrastructure would crumble, tech would not get developed, and just about every country would at was with each other over pretty things being said. The 30% of men would immediately become at least a 60% majority after a single generation just to fix all the problems caused by a single generation of female mass majority. And after a couple generations the genders would once again be roughly balanced.
There would be some noticeable differences in how things are done and unfold in the short term... But eventually things would end up right where they are now, or how things were back when men dominated everything and women were regulated to kitchens and having babies, just reversed.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely and the genitals you have between your legs don't change this.
There would still be wars, there would still be poverty and greed. Let's not forget that both men and women have abused their positions of power, both genders can and do commit the same crimes.
All the generalised examples/arguments above only show how things can be better when BOTH genders are involved in providing input. There is also the factor of our current environment where many women feel they still need to prove themselves, so they try and actively do better.
But when the majority of primary income earners become women over men, they're going to get just as stressed, just as burnt out and just as ill tempered due to your regular responsibilities adding up... So yeah, at the end of the day, most days, when you get home after spending 8 to 12 hours dealing with clients and co-workers BS, and have the family going off about this and that the very moment you get in the door... You're not going to have the energy to make a big fancy and healthy meal most of the time and will cut corners and order some fast food because it's one less thing to worry about.
As a leader of your nation, it's irrelevant if all the world leaders are women or men. You need to make sure your citizens have jobs and the economy is running well. You need to ensure your land and resources aren't taken by other nations who either want or need those to better their citizen's quality of life. If you don't, then you'll either have an uprising or that other nation will eventually take over yours.
That leads to either war between your and their nations or mass suffering and death of your people, but neither is good.
So you either play hard ball or you get taken over and fail as a nation, gender be damned.
I won't dismiss that men in the past have taken advantage of their positions and spent centuries oppressing women in order to keep that position of power, but let's not fool ourselves into thinking the same wouldn't happen if women had the same level of dominance and power.
Men argued that all women were weaker and couldn't handle performing critical decisions and such, but women are already pulling the same stunt claiming all men are violent and quick to action before thinking. Same shit, different smell. It's all a means to justify why one gender is worse than the other in order to try and force an advantage.
Well to start with the only way what would happen in after a massive war so you must assume most of the men who are around were ether to old or young to serve or injured in battle and since the female replacement the government we can assume the capital was nuked killing all the old government officials so obviously they will try to rebuild but they have no money so they would need to strike a deal with ether the USA or China witch would massively effect the outcome but we can assume a few things first guys would need to be shared so the population can be rebuilt and if reality show have taught me anything it's that girl dont share there man very well so we can assume the prisons are extremely overpopulated secondly despite the government best efforts its basically going to be 90% the same maby a few extra school or hospital get built but the women who take over the massive companies will still control the money and controls who your even allowed to vote for. I've noticed where women work or even just show up there tends to be organization and order that come with her.
I've seen it in all age ranges, too. Boys shooting hoops all of a sudden take turns and organize when a girl shows up on court to play. But if none show up, it's a disordered mess.
Women in professional organizations tend to be the drivers of additional groups and structures that positively contribute to organizational culture and social responsibility. Every corporate social responsibility initiative I've seen or been invovled with was led by mostly women. Even if it's spearheaded by a man, most members are women and those who do the most work are women.
I have no clue what would actually happen, but looking at Rwanda's struggles despite having one of the highest (68%) ratios of women to men in political leadership, it seems it's not enough to start from the top down. This kind of social change needs to happen from the ground up or it just squeezes women even more.

Yeah no. Women truly have no clue who it is thats building the roads , running the wires, laying the pipes, and maintaining the sewer systems that keep society running. They also have no clue who mans the guns that keep society safe and who tills the fields that grow the food that society eats.

Any society with a huge difference between the percentages of women and men would have issues functioning. Even in your scenario where men might not be needed to reproduced, people still want to have relationships and physical contact. It woud mean that more than half of the women couldn't get a man.
On a more positive note, the countries with a female head of state (e. g. New Zealand, Finland) are doing a good job. More women in politics is a good thing. And there are some other institutions as well which could use more women. However, religious institutions as well as the police and military are male-dominated and I don't see that changing. Particularly because e. g. not many women want to be in the military.
We should strive for more equality when it comes to gender, colour, etc. Not for changing male dominance to female dominance like it's payback time.
maybe there would be a change in partnership and marriage, more relationships may be between 2 women and one men, or about half of the women would stay single.
Maybe there would also be a change in behaviour regarding dating, men would be more picky when choosing a partner while women are more desperate to find a man at all. Because "demand and supply" are changed.
Because of that there may also be a change in mens behaviour overall, men wouldn't be as dominant or aggressive since the "competition of finding a partner" is gone.
Difficult to say how the decrease of competition among men and increase of competition among women would play out. Generally speaking evolutionary competition is a rather strong factor in moving society forward. Chances are women would work a lot harder to secure themselves a decent man and keep him satisfied, because he has more options.
On the other hand I am not sure, if the men would reduce their competitiveness then or if it's still enough to keep them competitive.
The other alternative is that we go back to the top% of men having big harems. Which would result in a major issue for society, if we don't limit 2 women and one man in relationships.
Fat dudes would get laid. A LOT. Monogamy would go out the window. Birth control would be outlawed. And men would lose what rights they have left in the name of "saving the species." Men would become property. War fought with surrogates (drones, machines).

My best guess is that there wouldnfinally be no more dirty laundry and there would always be a sandwich waiting for when i needed one. Conversely, sex would no longer sell consumer products, all speed limits would be set at about 20 mph and it would be law that every person must take at least 75 minutes to get ready before heading to the party store. 150 mins for special trips to places like wal mart.

Ugh, I never take that long to get ready, I don't wear makeup or fancy clothes, unless it's for an occasion. I don't get girls dressing up like their going to the club when they're going to Walmart.
actually that wouldn't work because the more scarce a commodity is, the more valuable it becomes. if men become only 30% of the population that would actually increase the demand for men and make us more powerful. if women were reduced to only 30% then it would be the opposite. i think men would literally fight or go to war over the 30% women until the number becomes 50-50 again.

Probably World Wars over men. We would be a nations hard currency, and not be seen as people but things. We would be passed around more then a box of tissues. Obviously science and mathmatics would go down the drain. The ability to build things more complex then a log house would also go down the drain. The ability to fix things would be near non-existent. Basically most of the human collective knowledge base would go down the drain.
But 30% is still a decent number. Maybe women would assign guards to each man so they aren't sexually assaulted or something. Who knows the what if are plentiful.

Nah, societies fall when women become more dominant than men. The reason being the men dying out mean there is more pressure on the women to makeup the shortfall and then some.
Sperm and testosterone are not the only thing men bring to the the gender table. There is a lot of social, cultural, political and organisational thinking that males do much better with than females.
I'd be possibly willing to try it, if it means something different than what we got, but what I worry is eventually having it reversed fast, because at least nowadays, it seems more common for women to ignore red flags and push into abusive relationships until it's too late. So my thought it that the 30% of men would be able to manipulate their way into power and take control, even from behind the scenes.

Well firstly, the whole power dynamic will be turned on its head. Since men are the persuers and the women are the prize (generalizing but usually men do chasing with dating) after the population changing that drastically, the men will be the ones sought after.
Having a larger percentage of females in society doesn't automatically mean that women are in charge, so lets separate those two ideas. If there were a 70/30, female/male split in society men would be put on a pedestal and likely have harems or multiple open relationships. So it would likely just worsen the existing situation of men controlling almost every facet of society. If, however, women were suddenly in control of 'everything ', I think you'd see a dramatic improvement in the way people live and limits on the ability of corrupt, money hungry people to abuse the legal system and other people. I think diplomacy would become more effective, war would be avoided, and hungry people in poor countries would get fed. I think, basically, we'd become a far more utopian society with higher value placed on the wisdom of elders and the protection of vulnerable people. Men are violent, selfish, prideful, easily corrupted and far too easily led by their sexual urges.
The same shit that happened to them. I've met so many women who look down on men who are horrible people themselves. We'd have to repeat the feminism movement but with men. When you're a minority you don't matter to world leaders or to the community.

Under a dystopian future like that, it's much more likely I would fight against the other males and become Warlord Supreme (something like Genghis Kahn). I would likely attract a haram, whether I wanted it or not. However, my sick mind would have the women work for me in my research center and have the attractive ones compete physically and mentally with each other to select a proper mate. I would take on the victor only and only let the others work for me. The males that didn't die and who served my new world order could marry the remaining women.

What can I say, I've got a dystopian mind 😵🤪 The women couldn't afford to lose me and if they put me in a labor camp I would start a revolution and come into power anyways.
In theory the best gender ratio is 103-106 men for 100 women. If there are more men than that, too many men ends up with no partner and just the competition makes men stressed and depressed. If there are more women, men become lazy and unmotivated as they don't have to compete for women and they'd treat women worse. The 3-6 are probably men who for one reason or for an other don't want a partner.
