It was part of the USSR, but it is its own country at this point. Don't quote me on this, but I think Kazakstan was one of the nuclear testing playgrounds. Kazakstan is one of those desolate backwater countries that doesn't really have the economic engine (or even the natural resource to create an economic engine) to ever amount to very much. It's just one of those Russian Steppe territories that is in a decent location, but doesn't really have enough going for it to be of interest to anyone beyond controlling trade routes (which it can't really do because of advances in ship and airplane technology).
There is no "kazigstan", it's called Kazakhstan. Nope, it's not a part of Russia, as you can see in the map above, Russia is north of Kazakhstan borders.
No, however it used to be a member of the former U. S. S. R, as another user said.

It used to be for a few hundred years. Central asia is rich in mineral resources and is about to boom with competing interests in China to the east, Russia to the north and Iran to the west. Afghanistan in the south is the reason the US invaded to get their share.
You attached a picture of that country and couldn't spell it yourself?
Nope. It’s a former Russian state but now it’s own country. Pretty sure Wikipedia could have answered this one for you
I don’t think so, I think it’s it’s own country. I mean, they have a flag, and a border, and the government.

It's not a part of Russia and it never was, it was a part of the former USSR, as one of the soviet socialist republics.
Before that, it was a part of the Russian empire, as an autonomous region. No , it use to be in the USSR. But that no longer exists. It's now a country in it's own right...
Nope. It's a part of the wider USSR, but not a part of Russia itself.
