I think it's partly a lack of social experiences. They never fully experience childhood so they live it through tv and movies.

Then have trouble when they realise their body does not match what they long for. To be young again.

This is just one example of it and I can imagine how it could torture and twist one's mind.

There is the idea of control too. Which is an even scarier concept when it comes to controlling kids.

It is something to be aware of though that any person that is forced into a situation or way of thought can be in danger of doing radical things

Like a normal person that holds in all their emotions over time then just robs a store once they are beyond their limits.

I think it's normal people forced into abnormal situations or ways of thought.

For some it's a simple innocent thought, I wish to be young again, for others it can go a much deeper and darker route.

I say normal people simply because it is funny how many try to push themselves away from people like that and say I don't have anything to do with a person like that. But we all have struggles. A person can instantly have a mental illness that never had it before and then they are just like the people they tried to avoid.

I say this partly as a caution to "normal" people but also for those to think about people that do things like this, rather than throw them in the dempster and light it on fire. You could at least try to learn why they are like that to see if you can understand them and prevent it from happening to others

A combination of trauma and bad attitude. Some people deal with trauma by ignoring it or tying to make sure nobody has to suffer the way they have. I imagine there are some roads leading that way as well. You do things to toddlers, you've had bad things done to you.

Most other age-groups are likely a continuation of a perversion trend in that person's other aspects of sexuality. That's why many have adult partners as well.

It can be trauma, it can be mental illness I think most of it comes down to BAD FUCKING morals and/or trauma. Bc there are people who will have sex with 14 yr old who are in their 20s or Even older in countries or places where it is legal and THAT IS PEDOPHILE! Entitled sickos

No, a paedophile is someone over the age of 18 who has a primary sexual attraction to prepubescent children (which is before the age of 11)

I think their is a number of factors. I think the rise in pedophiles could be do to pornography promoting “young” “daughter” “sister” and “teen” type role play

I believe what makes one become a Child predator, they were sexually abused themselves I had to push a former friend of the family out of my life cause he sexually assaulted his 2 nieces and his Sister told me what he did, he could have got the death penalty from what I heard and saw in the Newspaper he did some horrible things and I stopped all communication with him and his nieces were age 6-7 when this went on and it didn't come out to they got to be teenagers

I think that asking such people what brought them too the state they are in, in a respectful, inquisitive manner, free of accusations or judgment, devoid of an imperious attitude, is a good start in finding the answers to those questions.
