Do any hot women like quiet men?

The kind of guys that never initiate conversation with women or smile, and tend to wait , and I only flirt with women by eye contact. My hobbies are reading, volunteer stuff and working out.

For instance, my woman must have never had sex outside a relationship. Or ever cheated. She must also be thought of as attractive, be in good physical shape and preferably have some common interests. Naturally, since I am a quiet man I insist that a woman always shows interest in me or approaches me first before I ask her out.

There's nothing wrong with quiet men who are confident. This will come across as unwavering, firm, and relaxed confidence, which is great. But you saying that you won't do any of the talking and expect the woman to do all the work, that much will get you passed over more often than not. Some women like outgoing guys no matter what, but there are still those who can appreciate a quiet guy (if he has no problem coming out of his shell). If you've ever heard women say they like a dark/mysterious man, that is one thing the quiet guy has going for him- he's harder to read and thus is more mysterious.

I think I already know who this is (the guy that refuses to approach women), so yeah the same answers that everyone has given you before still apply.

Well, a man that is introverted might never approach women for reasons that have nothing to do with self confidence, such as apathy, pride or just preference.

I'm introverted, and I've approached girls before. If it's your preference, then go for it. But don't expect to have women flocking to you since you aren't approaching them.

Well an 'alpha' male might simply reason "I have better things to do" and pursue his own interests rather than women.

I don't mind a guy who's on the quiet side - but if he makes no moves to show me he's interested I'm not going to waste my time. I mean, it's nice to know that a guy is willing to put in some effort when it comes to getting you, rather than seeming disinterested. I'm more likely to choose a guy that would actively try to woo me, than one who's happy enough to sit back and let me do all the work.

I don't and honestly, I wouldn't even consider it. I love outgoing and fun guys. If a guy flirts with me by eye contact and nothing more, I'm going to assume he's a pussy. I like guys that go after what they want. And if I have guys that actually have the balls to come up to me and strike up a conversation out of the blue, then I'm gonna give them the attention and not the quiet guy. Sorry

Sure.. but me personally I like an alpha man and really if a woman has men throwing themselves at her then why would she go out of her way to get you unless you showed her you were special. How can you show that you're special if you're hiding behind your own insecurities? You're not mysterious you're really just a p--sy.

Because the guys 'throwing themselves" at her are desperate, and generally of lower value. It's the concept of overbidding.

If you're not trying why should she bother with you? You seem very entitled. Alpha men can't be AMOG'd (alpha male of the group), from what you've been saying it sounds like you can easily be AMOG'd. You're not quiet because you're deep and confident but have no need to be loud, you're quiet because you're insecure and scared of rejection. A quiet, confident man would have no problem talking to a woman he's attracted to. I mean really, has your method worked so far?

I don't have a problem talking to a woman I'm attracted to. I just never go out of my way to talk to anyone, women included. I do things on my own.

"I insist that a woman always shows interest in me or approaches me first" You're scared. Play it off all you want, get defensive but obviously your method isn't working otherwise you wouldn't be on this site asking if you can get away with this behavior.

This proves my long standing theory that women don't want confident men -- they want assertive men with social skills. The two have little to do with each other

Although I think my problem is that I do care that women aren't approaching me, and this breeds some sort of subconscious desperation or fear that makes me come across as insecure. If I become truly indifferent towards wwomen and relationships, I think hot women will start to approach me again. Because it has happened a good deal in the past, I know I'm not undesirable.

Assertive is confidence! And self-respect. If you let people walk all over you how in the hell is that confident? If you're too scared to approach a woman how is that confident?

You can be quiet and confident; what you can't be is insecure and confident but eventually you'll figure that out. I feel this conversation is going round in circles so I'm out.

So would you say women want assertive men with social skills or confident men? These two are not the same thing.
