Question

So many whites think liberals want them to be ashamed of being white.
And thus the problems of black inequities fall by the wayside. But from what I know, no black person wants a white guy to be ashamed. They just want the same opportunities.

How did this become the narrative?

First off it is shameful that this is even an issue. The fact that we see each other as another race instead of just the human race is terrible. Things that white people have done in the past is extremely shameful and things that all of us are doing now a, days are shameful. Things can't get better if we can't treat each other better. The way things are right now aren't benefitting anyone and the past shows us that violence only brings on violence. It won't solve anything. If this side of a battle only has one person killed and the other side has 100 hundred people killed do you think you feel that you won if the one that was killed was your loved one and a war is never just one battle. I don't know the answer but I know if someone doesn't figure out that we're no different than each other and learn to live together and work together as one to solve worldly problems then it's gonna be a wrap anyways. There's so many problems we as the human race has created for ourselves that are fixing to bring hell down on us if we don't figure them out we're going to wish we had today's problems. Just one issue global warming is killing of sea life. We will all be affected by this. Or how about the snowball effect global warming along with pollution is doing to our drinking water. Imagine having to fight and even kill for food and water. It might not happen in my lifetime but what about your lifetime. Put that passion to good use for your sake

I actually very rarely hear minorities calling people racist, it’s always rich white liberals!!
Minorities didn’t assign white guilt or white privilege to us progressives did... dare i say
postmodernists/marxists did.
It’s the new class warfare! Instead of trying to divide people based on class, like in the USSR. They are using race to divide us. “Social justice”.
Instead of actually dealing with the struggles that the black community are going through. Instead of actually figuring out how to get people out of the welfare/poverty cycle that they are stuck in... we are focused on: recognizing our “privilege”, blackface, can white voice actors play black cartoons, critical race theory, unconscious bias training, etc. etc. that garbage isn’t actually helping black communities better themselves! But it sure does make the rich White elites feel good about themselves... while reminding us how ashamed we should all be!

I've had many black people argue with me because I said that that I'm not ashamed for being white. I've seen others say much worse things about white people as a group, including white liberals like yourself. Many of them do not respect you, they think of you as a useful idiot.

They don't want the same opportunities. Let's be real. If they were really being victimised there would be more of them leaving than coming in, but there are more coming in than leaving. It's a power tactic. The best way to gain power in today's world is by convincing other people that you're being victimised, whether or not you actually are. By playing victim olympics.

I'm not a fan of the cops, I don't trust them at all. Do I think that black people are treated unfairly? In some places probably. One of the big reasons many don't see it as an issue is because every time BLM start rioting and burning buildings they tell blatant lies about how the guy was just an innocent black guy minding his own business, and it always turns out that they're convicted of a number of violent offenses, robberies etc. and that they resisted arrest.

People were going mad in London because the police shot another supposedly innocent black man. What they didn't mention is that he's stabbed a bunch of people and tried to chop a cop with a machete.

Okay, let's keep pretending that the elites in this country AREN'T pitting us against each other to keep our attention away from the real issues that effect our country.

1) Rich people don't pay taxes in practice.
2) They've becoming too powerful in the last decades, as they've been concentrating capital while the middle class shrinks.
3) In practice, lobbies govern this country and politicians, regardless of the party, only do their donors' bidding.
4) People have no voice as they have no money to fund political candidates. And they don't understand politics anyway, they don't have time to study about politics. They can't compete with the extremely well funded think tanks in this country.
5) The Western elites want to assure their power globally even through economic wars, proxy wars or conventional wars.
6) THE ELITES HAVE ZERO RESPECT FOR ANYONE "BELOW" THEM IN SOCIAL HIERARCHY, WHICH MEANS THAT THEY DESPISE 99% OF THE WHITE POPULATION TOO.

The future of White people in this country is to see their communities become crime-ridden, drug infested places with no good prospects of a future, just like the African-American communities are. And you all will call this "equality."

This is the place your kids will grow up in, but not mine.

It's propaganda to justify inaction.

Like saying people who wear masks are scared, rather than trying to help keep people alive, or improved background checks on gun sales will lead to mass confiscation of all guns, despite it being incredibly popular, or that universal health care will lead to socialism.

I'm perfectly happy with being white. I can, however, see that not being white has negative consequences beyond one's control, and I think that's a bad thing that we, as a society, should try to mitigate.

Well black people so far want revenge from what i can see, white people simply don't want to be hurt by said black people. However there are some white people who are pieces of shit and those white people must be arrested. However some black people think they are owed some sort of reparations for something that there family members did during the slavery era. In my opinion i don't think that's right because you still be targeting another race which is racism.
