Why are Bigtech going out of there way to protect democrats?

All videos of Russian collusion and the 2016 election is free to talk on their platform but somehow any criticism of the 2020 election gets pulled down within hrs by these bigtech companies. In addition, bigtech are fine with people posting illegally obtain information of conservatives on their platform but will take down all negative claims of democrats (e. g. Hunter biden laptop).

I just don't get why bigtech would be going out of their way to defend democrats. I mean they should be focusing on maximizing profit and not driving out their consumers. We saw this when they banned president trump and within 3 days lost 51.2 billion dollars. And now, all these countries from around the world and even locally in the states are getting tough on them and blocking users from using their services.

It just does not make sense that you would suicide your business into doing this.

"Lose $51 Billion..." More nonsense from troll network NTD. The market cap of those companies is so large that a $50 Billion change in market capitalization is just normal market variation. They banned Trump over repeated false claims that the election was rigged. The Biden claims are just typical what-about-ism. Instead of agreeing that Trump has behaved badly, or even discussing it, Trump supporters just deflect to another topic. This is typical gaslighting behavior from abusers.
