What are you doing to celebrate national women’s history month?

Honestly I'm not doing anything. The whole things a bit patronising. Imagine the thinking behind it-
Well gee we've spent centuries hiding women at key events, misrepresenting their parts in key events, and simply bullshiting to pick men and make them sound more important than they were. Are we going to correct all those lies and nonsense? Well there's so many books that we'd have to edit and reprint, sounds like a lot of work. So what should we do? How about we concocted some bullshit 'history month' and don't acknowledge the shit we pulled. Works with the other history months, just colour this one pink and purple, they like pink and purple.
celebrate with a little rug munching
I saw one survey that side, a woman that doesn't wear bra's, breast cancer had dropped and still others say that's wrong, ladies lets look at it this way to take advantage of both surveys when your out in public let them puppies bounce and then look and see how many guys smile or try to flirt with you, so many times I have seen then move as two little pups move, it looks like a bowl of gelatin in there. Personally, I prefer small breasts, so please let's not go gets a boob job.
And if you don't have large breasts, don't worry. Your breasts move more than you think, so Let them babies bounce. Most men will love you.
I don't do anything, acknowledge, care about any of these "honor month" things.
I find the entire concept of governments picking some subgroup of birth traits and selecting months to "honor" said subgroup just weird.
I just live my normal everyday life and this stuff isn't part of it.
Outside of family member's birthdays and anniversary's... Mother's Day and Father's Day... I don't do anything else. I don't even pay attention to this stuff.

I'm dating a woman, and I will celebrate my woman parent's birthday this month. She is 90 years old so she is a part of history.
Calling out the hypocrisy of Switzerland who banned the Niqab on International Women’s Day in the name of “stopping extremism.” Sorry not sorry, the Niqab is not extreme, it’s simply something many Muslim women choose to wear to get closer to God.
Are there cases where the Niqab is forced upon women? Yes, and that is a result of culture, not Islam. But if you really want to stop extremism, if you really want to stop oppression against women the answer isn’t banning something that actually empowers many women because they choose to wearing. That’s adding to another kind of extremism and oppressing another set of women. Not cool.
Wearing a niqab brings women closer to God? Does he get in there with them?
I'll get me coat.
Both of you come back when you’re actually willing to learn about alternative beliefs instead of mock.
And for your information the Niqab isn’t necessarily culture for many it’s a part of their religion and that includes ethnically European women who convert to Islam. Islam and Muslims are by no means, exclusive to the Middle East, in fact, only 15-20% of the population.
But if you really want Niqabis to “go back to the Middle East” I assume that means they’ll be taking your computer or device you used to type that Islamophobic comment on too, given algorithms were invented by a Middle Eastern mathematician who was a Muslim.
Guess by your logic Europe won’t be wanting Computers, Maths, a form of surgery, hospitals, universities, or coffee either🤷🏾♀️😂
I'm a southern slav by ethnicity. Southern slavs and islam Don't have a nice history.
Not to mention we're big on alcohol.
And if they like the culture so much, why don't they move to the middle east where it's dominant and enforced by law.
And speaking of learning about alternative beliefs, how many muslims know anything about slavic culture and pagan religion?
If you live in a foreign country you should adapt to their culture out of respect otherwise pack your bags and go back
Okay I’ll point out your first misconception. “Southern Slavs and Islam don’t have a nice history” Let me just say I’m unaware of the history between Muslims and Southern Slavs so that’s definitely something I’ll look into. But if any oppression did take place as you claim, that is not oppression by Islam. That is oppression by *Muslims*. There’s a difference. Believe it or not but a number of Muslims actually misuse their religion to oppress and hurt people. I don’t like those Muslims either.
As for learning about Slav culture and the pagan religion firstly, you present a case of “whataboutism.” Secondly as a Muslim I know a little about some pagan religions but not a lot because I’ve met very few pagan people in my short lifetime, and when I have met pagans I’ve asked them about their religion. If you don’t come across something you won’t know about it. My problem is, you form an opinion on Islam and the Muslim people with refusing to learn anything about us or our religion, if you’re going to have an opinion about us, at least educate yourself.
And again, with what you say shows me how little you know about Islam. Islam is not a culture! It’s a religion🙄
I want to do something to celebrate but I don't know what I should do. What would you recommend?
Tell your mom you love her
What about to like women i work with?
Three years Today, I finished my Remake of my Play "Julie's Web," That soon after was published. I mentioned in my book about International Women's Day. Celebrate Women!!! xxoo
I find women who 'have a history' to be somewhat fascinating.
I have no 'problems' with women (kind of like you guys :D ) so I'm open to celebrate women any time of the year.
(I'm saying this with positive and friendly humour - have a good month, then)
ITS NERF OR NOTHING
I'm not doing anything different than what I normally do everyday. I was brought up to respect and honor women every day... and not just for one month that some people feel the need to highlight and ensure that people do, Yeah, this is a year round kinda thing for me... so wuteva
First thing I did was get a girlfriend. It was easy, all I had to do was tell her how much I care about Women's History Month. It works every single year.
That's a great strategy! I gave your comment a "thumbs up!"
you sir, are a genius
Do we have a thread for the most influential women going yet? I'll just leave my submission here :)
https://www.youtube.com/embed/LVC-5shAkuE''Now isn't that a daisy'' :D
Like most female responders here, I'm doing nothing to celebrate it. People are getting tired of women screaming for attention and demanding to be "valued".
Here's an idea. How about you just be valuable and get attentions that way instead?
Nothing: it's just another mindless feel-good non-event that really doesn't make any sense if you give the title serious thought. "Women's History"... WTF are they getting at?
Wow so you have there womens month? Why there is no mens month :D? oh now your oppressed group White men are the evil ones oppressors that must be destroyed funny. Stop listenning to those radical feminists they lost there mind.
Hmm maybe because too many male assholes like you exist?
Nothing at all, I mean don't get me wrong I love women, but uh no i am good with the celebration of women. I have far more important things to do with my life right now.
Nothing, I don't celebrate these random holidays that are self congratulatory nonsense. Heck, I barely celebrate real holidays. Hmm, I wonder if that is a side effect of my depression? Or my isolation? Guess I will have to talk with my therapist about it. Too bad I didn't realize this yesterday.
I’m think non-depressed people feel this way too.
So it is my extreme isolation then?
the same thing i did for national systemic racism month last month , NOTHING!
What ever happened to the white man’s month? I guess we don’t get one
Gina Carano marathon or Carathon!
Same thing I do any other day, which is treat the women in my life with proper and due respect regardless of such make believe days/months which only impress attention whores.
Well i celebrated by spanking my girlfriend and calling her a dumb little baby who couldn't do anything without help and then came all over her like a fire hose after i fucked her. Happy womens day!
By treating women with fairness and kindness like I always do.
Why? What happened?
Did women do something special only in this month?
I'm pooping a lot on this day, each time i hear "women's day" i feel the need to enter the bathroom 😒
I'm have dedicated this month to try as many different styles of sammich as possible, to celebrate the many contributions women have made to society! 😂😂😂😬😳😱 #itsjustajoke
Wow people gave you a day, you took the whole month lol 😅.
Anyways enjoy
It's the monthof mental breakdowns for me, so i am celebrating that. 👍
Literally going about my life the same as I always do.
I celebrate not knowing about women's history month
Watching yuri anime. And its not like women needs an entire month, a day should be enough.
We have dealt with trashy sexist men for too long, and we still do. We deserve a whole month, and that’s what we have.
Whats the point in dividing men and women like we have been living in 2 different realities
Women are victims of men. There is your history. Now you are just like the black history month
Men must be terrible! They victimize women and oppress blacks. What's next?
@David92506 And they build everything. Why are they so obsessed with building and fighting and fucking. Why are they so different than ladies. Are we all supposed to be the same?
I’m honoring them by not calling them “womxn”!!!
Give my mom a shoulder massage
Nothing, I don’t celebrate irrelevant bullshit.
I dont tend to celebrate interned made up days
I’d be somewhere giving a woman a good orgasm but unfortunately I’m single
Absolutely nothing but work like any normal day.
Staying at home and minding my damn business.
How is that celebrating women?
Nothing. It's ridiculous
Nothing special, because it's just another month.
I couldn't care less about it
UN holidays mean nothing to me.
Well it’s a whole month so, buckle up.
I live in rural Maine; folks are welcome to celebrate whatever, as they will, but seldom does it involve me.
I mean, I don't celebrate half of the U S. Federal or Christian holidays I grew up with; i can't pretend to care about "international" holidays.
Visiting one woman per week for sex in order to celebrate what I appreciate about women the most
So you are paying for sex... yuck.
Supporting women.
History month? Really? What on Earth for?
Giving extra orgasms. Free to anyone!
waiting for you to come over to celebrate
I sm celebrating it by takig a damp in the toilet.
We don't have that in my country.
Should I be doing something?
Umm okay?
Didn't know this was a thing. Til today
Nothing at all.
When did this become a thing?
I have more important things to worry about tbh.
I don't celebrate it
Nothing.
Nothing
watch some porn
Nothing
Filing my taxes.
