Why people hate rich & successful people?

Not everyone does. But for the ones who do:

• They've experienced some people 'getting to the top' by trampling over others, and 'standing on the shoulders of giants' but taking all the credit for themselves, as if some amount of luck and work and assistance from others didn't also play a part in their success.
• Jealousy. Humans generally overestimate their abilities, and downplay others'. If they succeed, it was "hard work." If others succeed "they are just lucky." (And men tend to overestimate their abilities more than women do. There was a university study where students were given manufactured grades on a test that was all random and no way to accurately score it. The real test was in their predictions of how they would do, and their perception of why they 'did well.' Girls said luck. Guys said skill.
• Tearing people down, and building people up, is sport for some. Especially, the more distant the connection to them. America is also particularly known for this - creating, worshipping, dismantling, and then cheering idols and underdogs.

I don't and people hate them because some of them act like they are better than you but then the ones who don't people hate them because they just envy them. Tbh I am a successful person but I do't use my success to rub it in others faces I help people. I donate money to shelters, hospitals and ext. I help ALL my family. But when I go into stores to get clothes for my children the cart is always full and people are just really rude but I don't mind because people do that because they look at successful person and see who they want to be. Like, if some women kept being awfully rude to me because I am successful but then she asked for help to pay for something I would help because being successful is a privilege because you worked hard you shouldn't rub it in people's faces but help people.
