+1 yYour view is understandable but that is not likely to happen and ethically, attempting to make it happen is wrong due to the fact that the UK and before that Great Britain wrongly attempted to conquest the world, doing so obligated it to take in some of the population in each place it attempted conquest. If you don't like people from Hong Kong, Africa, India living in your country then perhaps your people ought not have dragged them from those places as a source of cheap or free labor. It is your punishment for exploiting them. Norway is an example of a nation that did not engage in this sort of behavior and therefore has a moral right to maintain their nation's ethnicity as they see fit and they do to a certain extent.

But you're only 25 so confused.
Perhaps you're more focused on the recent white influx from the other side of Europe.

The Picts and Celts were wiped out by the German, Greek, Roman and Viking immigrants who settled to make the modern "Englanders" as you like to think yourselves.
Then you decided to invade other lands under the British Empire and a lot of those people followed you home to civilise you.
Hence the reason it's bad you dream of a time that never existed.20 Reply
+1 yI think the most telling things about this questions is...
THIS is considered racist by the majority of people here..
But if another group (specifically non white, non european) were to want the same thing
it would be considered preservation, forward thinking, and a perfectly acceptable demand?

- +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002
Exactly my point
but not seen that way by most people sadly - +1 y
I disagree, I think it is.
- +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 Not really
there tends to be a double standard held
For example,
Black Nationalism is often viewed in a very positive way (even Oscar worthy apparently)
^ even if according to the SPLC the majority of Domestic Terrorist groups in the USA are of that particular movement.
^ which according to their last report
over the 1,020 Hate Groups in the USA
264 were Black Nationalist
while only
148 were White Nationalist
The fact is, any sort of racial prejudice from other other side (Be it Liberal, or Non White)
TENDS to (not always).. BUT USUALLY.. is supported by the Mainstream
- +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 Same issue is applied to a lot of Foreign issues where
clearly Racist/Prejudice based concepts are viewed as "acceptable"
ranging from Japanese and Chinese Immigration Laws (and Refugee Laws)
^ which are FAR FAR FAR more aggressive than American Laws
to Racial elitism held in other parts of the world
for example, the complete denial (in most mainstream corners) of the Chinese actions against Uyghurs <--- very few even open to speaking about this
Honestly the list just kinda goes on
the Media ignorance (and near total acceptance)
of racially/religious/ethnic. ETC based violence in other nations
like Iraq... or Iran.. or India
Not to many people quite open to speaking out against it
Or Turkish violence against Kurds (and vice versa)
almost a "not our problem who cares" - +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 Take it from a Liberal myself
There is an extreme double standard held by our side on most issues.
In regards to racial issues... ESPECIALLY
Often times there more of an emphasis on a PC type culture to the point that it ignores REAL problems.. for the benefit of not offending people. - +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002
sorry for all the comments

@SpiderManFan2002 *Hate Groups
not Domestic Terrorism - +1 y
No offense but youāre literally diverting from what you originally said.
You said: āBut if another group (specifically non white, non european) were to want the same thing
it would be considered preservation, forward thinking, and a perfectly acceptable demand?ā
Now if those black nationalist groups you gave an example of are considered hate groups- then tell me, whoās viewing non-white people doing the same thing what the OP is saying as acceptable?
And Iāve never seen the Japanese or Chinese immigration laws being called acceptable in fact, Japan was used as an example in my English class as somewhere that does not allow immigration- and this was not glorified. In terms of the Uyghurs in China a number of people are actually speaking out against China for what is happening to the Uyghurs- you just have to follow the right people, and actually again Iāve heard a number of people be critical about the other countries youāve mentioned too, but worse case scenario letās say nobody is speaking out - even though that isnāt true and I know thatās not what you said so donāt try and come for me - then that still disproves your initial claim of people seeing it as an acceptable demand? Tell me, with China, with Japan, with India, Iraq, Afghanistan- who ever said these countries behaviour towards minorities is acceptable? - +1 y
Moreover, can you show me a non-white person, from a non-white country- asking to see their country āracially as it was beforeā and responses to that are basically everyone cheering for them, and saying itās perfectly acceptable?
It just seems like you want to play a game of whataboutism and play victim. I donāt dispute that there are double standards within the mainstream media, but you made an incredibly bold claim that if a non-white person in a non-white country was to want what the OP wants people would consider it to be acceptable? When I donāt think thatās the case, I think the majority would view it as racist and a minority as not. And actually if you look at the responses to this question you have a number of people who also donāt condemn the question or see it as racist. Seems like you just want to be the victim real bad. - +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 Well this is quite simply to answer
Black Nationalist groups in the United States are viewed as Hate Groups by the intellectual community
However, the media tends to support them and hail them as heroes.
As we know, CNN, Fox News.. etc have more influence over the public perspective than most.
Also, of course
We see Anti-White (Or elitist) attitudes in nations like China, Japan, South Africa, Iraq, Afghanistan. ETC.
All of these nations suffer from various ethnic conflicts, and often call for a return to how things were.
I think the issue here is that you want to be close minded
you want to play the "blame the white" game
as oppose to accept that other races do the same thing? - +1 y
Give me an example of the media glorifying a black hate group then- and donāt say BLM, because:
a) thereās been mixed reporting about BLM both good and bad
b) not every person who supports BLM hates white people- unlike say the āNation of Islamā.
Show me an example of any of those nations saying what the OP said in this post, it seems like youāre twisting things now. āOften call for a return to how things wereā that could mean anything, in the past other countries were thriving- they could simply mean that- has anyone from any of those countries said that they want their country to return āracially as it was beforeā and the comment has been supported by the masses? You have South Africa as an example. Iāve seen several news reports about the white farmers in South Africa, and that is a devastating case of racism condemned by many.
And where did I blame white people for anything? Not you putting words in my mouthššš¤¦š¾āāļøI never said other races donāt do the same thing, what I said was I donāt think it would be seen as acceptable by most people for other races to do the same thing- yet you think the contrary, quite clearly, wanting to play victim. - +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 FIRST OFF, lets go through your reply, and show exactly WHY you are proving my point correct.
āNo offense but youāre literally diverting from what you originally said.
You said: āBut if another group (specifically non white, non european) were to want the same thing
it would be considered preservation, forward thinking, and a perfectly acceptable demand?āā
----- My Point in this reply is that there has been a double standard held within the United States against White people on the issue of Race. FOR EXAMPLE the issue of Cultural Appropriation tends to be a VERY one sided issue, and VERY RARELY are Minorities ever reprimanded for using White Culture⦠HOWEVER, there are numerous articles written about āWhites Appropriating Cultureā THE same issue applies to how Corporate and Government elites handle race issues.. from Affirmative Action.. to Youtube limitations (Which allow videos like the āWhat are Whites Superior Atā from Cut to be uploaded.. which are clearly racist.. But will remove Conservative White videos?). IN REGARDS to Whites and the preservation of White Culture, it is commonly accepted by the Public as being as Racist concept.. while Black Nationalism⦠or other Elitist ideals are often hailed. And even consider themselves OSCAR worth (check the recent Oscars).
- +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 Now if those black nationalist groups you gave an example of are considered hate groups- then tell me, whoās viewing non-white people doing the same thing what the OP is saying as acceptable?
---------- Once again, as provided above, this is due to the PUBLIC arena. This is due to the PRIVATE interest groups, or PRIVATE corporations that influence racial violence in the United States. CNN for example will openly denounce things as āWhite supremacyā even if they are not.. BUT will always be hesitant to use the terms āBlack Nationalismā ⦠FOR EXAMPLE for the most recent DC incident? It was difficult for them to even speak about the mans background. OR.. in terms of Anti-Asian violence it was difficult for them to recognize the perps as BLACK (which they were in most cases, and by government statistics they are).. but once a White man carried out such hostilities.. it was immediately highlighted as domestic terrorism
- +1 y
And again what youāre saying has some truth to it, but that doesnāt support your initial claim: who is viewing non-whites who say they want their country to be āracially as it was beforeā as acceptable?
- +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 And Iāve never seen the Japanese or Chinese immigration laws being called acceptable in fact, Japan was used as an example in my English class as somewhere that does not allow immigration- and this was not glorified.
--- -Within the United States, there is very much a āDonāt worry about their viewsā perspective that is being pushed.. and Also a Corporate Greed influence. Disney will openly accept China, and ignore the Uyghur issue for profits (from the Mulan film), because the recognition of such an even goes against the idea of them pushing their products within China. IT IS DIFFICULT for American corporations (or even American government agencies) to denounce nations like China, because of the need to not piss them off for trade. THERE is very much a mixed standard being applied (which no doubt you accept as well). The same thing applies to Japanese or Chinese Immigration laws, which play little to no influence in American classrooms. JAPAN is often hailed as a progressive nation, and has throughout many of the protests been viewed as a nation the United States should model itself after. - +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 ļ- Same thing was applied to gun law issues in the United States. None the less, we will happily ignore Japanese EXTREMELY prejudiced standards for immigration and refugee status, while attacking the United States for being fairly open? What sort of double standards are these? THIS is completely IGNORING actions taken by the Chinese Government against Minorities.. the Japanese government against Minorities⦠the same thing applies to Iraq, India, Afghanistanā¦.
The Fact is.. American issues take domination, while other nations that do far worse. Are often ignored by most circles.
Instead, any sort of conversation in retort is often viewed as prejudiced?
10 years ago this was not the case? Today? Yes.
- +1 y
And if you read my reply, I said that I donāt necessarily dispute there is a kind of double standard but I think itās incredibly far-fetched to say a non-white person, from a non-white country to ask this same question and it would be supported by most rather than called racist. Read what I say, not what you want to hear so you can play victim.
- +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 Moreover, can you show me a non-white person, from a non-white country- asking to see their country āracially as it was beforeā and responses to that are basically everyone cheering for them, and saying itās perfectly acceptable?
---- Sure? Nearly every Middle Eastern, African, Asian country that pushes its elitist ideals. Do you believe that āSupremacyā is a unique American or White trait? HAVE there not been conflicts throughout the world specifically on the Ethnic struggles? HAVE we not just listed some in this conversation where Governments, or People.. are in conflict with other racial groups (minorities usually) and even go as far as attempt to exterminate them? Did we not just discuss how these issues are LARGELY ignored by the West? You also damn well know there have been pundits who have gone as far as to call out such things as the treatment of the Kurds as ACCEPTABLE⦠or treatment of Muslims ACCEPTABLE (being a Muslim yourself clearly) within the United States itself? Donāt be so blind.
- +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 It just seems like you want to play a game of whataboutism and play victim. I donāt dispute that there are double standards within the mainstream media, but you made an incredibly bold claim that if a non-white person in a non-white country was to want what the OP wants people would consider it to be acceptable? And actually if you look at the responses to this question you have a number of people who also donāt condemn the question or see it as racist. Seems like you just want to be the victim real bad.
-------- Once again, I am speaking of Western Culture that prescribes to a concept that Whites are ALL Racist, and White Supremacy runs everything, and that other cultures (non Whites). You know as well as I that there is a complete ignorance in the West, of most things going on in other parts of the world. And that BOTH SIDeS (Liberal or Conservative) are more than happy to throw certain groups under the bus. I never made the claim I am speaking about other NATIONS.. I am speaking about the degradation of Western Culture.. due to the PC/SJW madness.
- +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 Give me an example of the media glorifying a black hate group then- and donāt say BLM, because:
a) thereās been mixed reporting about BLM both good and bad
b) not every person who supports BLM hates white people- unlike say the āNation of Islamā.
--- Well for one, considering the actions of the BLM are not quite different from the from other groups we are more than happy to label as Hate groups? I would listen.. But none the less, even the most recent movie rewards were heavily influenced by Black Nationalist hate groups (including documentaries on them) which were mix of nominees and wins.ā The list is honestly endless. These groups are rarely ever made into villains, because the obsession by the media is White Supremacy.
- +1 y
Except you havenāt given me a specific example. Youāve just said essentially nearly every non-white country, without giving me a specific example- itās actually laughable. You tell me what are their elitist ideals? And who has cheered for them or supported them? Where have they called for the removal of white people specifically because theyād rather it be their own race there and only their own race and everyone has cheered for them instead of condemning them?
Most people Iāve seen call the treatment of the Uyghurs in China acceptable are actually where people who are Islamophobic, there has been non-white Islamophobes too, but the majority of them in my experience has been white. In terms of the Kurds in Turkey I havenāt seen a single person call that acceptable either, like youāre insinuating.
Of course issues of racism outside the USA and white countries exist, and yes the West does ignore certain issues outside the West- I donāt disagree with you on that and that is down to our rubbish politicians, but to say the majority of people would view a non-white person asking this question as acceptable and not racist is just absolutely ridiculous and shows rather than condemning this person, you want to play the whataboutism game and play victim. I guarantee you Wallahi, if I saw a non-white person asking this question Iād condemn it- you on the other hand basically whined about how if a non-white person asked this people would find it acceptable which is just utter nonsense! - +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 Show me an example of any of those nations saying what the OP said in this post, it seems like youāre twisting things now. āOften call for a return to how things wereā that could mean anything, in the past other countries were thriving- they could simply mean that- has anyone from any of those countries said that they want their country to return āracially as it was beforeā and the comment has been supported by the masses? You have South Africa as an example. Iāve seen several news reports about the white farmers in South Africa, and that is a devastating case of racism condemned by many.
--- Once again, my comment was about specifically Western Double Standards. I am speaking specifically about USA Perspectives in this list. I am not talking about foreign actors specifically. None the less, its obviously happened.. Considering many regions of the world have undergone ethnic/religious turmoil⦠various dictators slaughtering other ethnic groups.. ETC ETC ETC. Some of these hailed as acceptable (or non existence.. such as the Armenian Genocide.. not accepted by the Turkish government).. by various parties. IN REGARDS to global issues.. Its very clear that there are varied answers to this question. SOME WERE clearly supportive of the actions of ISIS? Others condemned it.. and most issues generally go under the radarā¦.
However, my point was specifically about WESTERN (media/political) perspectives on these issues.
- +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 And where did I blame white people for anything? Not you putting words in my mouthš¤¦āāāI never said other races donāt do the same thing, what I said was I donāt think it would be seen as acceptable by most people for other races to do the same thing- yet you think the contrary, quite clearly, wanting to play victim.
--- That is good! Because other races do the exact same thing.. and that is one of my major points š
- +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 And again what youāre saying has some truth to it, but that doesnāt support your initial claim: who is viewing non-whites who say they want their country to be āracially as it was beforeā as acceptable?
--- I have provided examples, and stated I am specifically talking about Western issues. NOT Perspectives from other nations.
- +1 y
Except itās not every BLM person out there doing crimes. A number of them protest peacefully. You could say the same thing about the Capitol Hill rioters who support the Republican Party- does their actions mean that any group favoring the Republicans or the Republican Party itself is a hate group? I think not.
Moreover can you give me an example of a Oscar nominee that was inspired by a black nationalist hate group then? - +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 And if you read my reply, I said that I donāt necessarily dispute there is a kind of double standard but I think itās incredibly far-fetched to say a non-white person, from a non-white country to ask this same question and it would be supported by most rather than called racist. Read what I say, not what you want to hear so you can play victim.
--- Once again, I am not talking about people from other countries. I am speaking about how an Iraqi would view something, or how someone from Turkey would view something.. THAT is another topic in itself. Prejudice exists everywhere obviously
I am speaking specifically about WESTERN perspectives, and double standards on this topic.
I am not including other nations perspectives, because that would make the conversation more complex and cluttered than it is. . and We both know there are PLENTY of examples of it.
However, that is not the topic I am bringing up, ONCE AGAIN
I am speaking about WESTERN perspectives specifically
The double standard in the West in how Whites are viewed, as opposed to others.

@SpiderManFan2002

ļ® Once again, I am not speaking about these nations or there perspectives. I am talking about Western media perspectives.. Or Western double standards. ---- Considering the amount of damage in comparison it is debatable.
Moreover can you give me an example of a Oscar nominee that was inspired by a black nationalist hate group then?
- Judas and the Black Panther to name one, which is about the Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party.
- The entire Oscars was more or less the āBlack Oscarsā .. where there put up standards that required films to have a certain amount of Black people in it (or production crew) to even meet the standard⦠WHICH is the bigger issue I think
- TOKENISM is not acceptable.. it shouldnāt be acceptable.

Throughout history for over 2000 years we have been invaded and had people settle here who were not indigenous to the country. @Jessica405 the question is not about limiting itās about resetting

I fully agree with limits across the board, however re read the question.
So this is basically pre 1940ās or even 1900ās

@Jessica405 also this is a UK question, so itās very specific to UK immigration.
The bit that is racist
see my country racially as it were before immigration
Thatās removing anyone from India, Pakistan, Caribbean, etc.
That is racism not controlling immigration - +1 y
I agree it would be difficult, but we will never have adequate housing if something radical happens. No government here is able to keep up with demand. With student debts of thousands, my guy and I will never be able to buy. We can't afford private rental, and there is no social housing to be had. We have seen the latter go to European immigrants. A country Iāve never been to before?š
Honestly itās always āimmigrants taking our jobs/our housesā yet people like you so conveniently forget many immigrants were called to Britain to work, like the Desi community after WW2 for example. Without them, and many other immigrants who helped rebuild this country Britain, like it or not. But instead of seeing a community who sacrificed so much to come help rebuild this country while also getting chased and beaten and sworn at by fascists despite doing essential work for this country, all people like to OP and perhaps you see are is a non-white face.
And some people claimed āwe could have done it without themā A) I think not otherwise the government wouldnāt have called them over
B ) Even if you could have which I doubt, you didnāt they contributed whether you like it or not that is fact so stop invalidating essential contributions to this country just because you canāt accept immigrants have done good for this country - +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 well said, I had thought it was just me seeing just how wrong the statement was.
I wonder what the ethnic split would be if it was simply, get rid of those to lazy to work, thatās telling and I can imagine what it would be. - +1 y
@ChrisMaster69 Lmao I think my opinion on this question pretty much sums up every person with their mentalityšš
- +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 I do realise what he said. I am simply adding my thoughts that we have to stop all immigration, and repatriate those that arrive illegally. I want a fucking home of my own, and I have seen 4 or 5 go down the pan to some immigrant family, that seem to get preferential treatment. What do you propose?
- +1 y
Then I guess you want your family from Australia to be deported too? Lol stop all immigration?ššBut whoās going to do the work in the nursing homes when over half this population is over 50? Many young British born people donāt want do these job, so who will?šš Are you sure they went to immigrants or did they just go to non-whites or just people whoāve worked harder than you did?
Bet you voted BorisššLovely how you wonāt blame the Tories and their policies as to why the homelessness rate is increasing, but sure, blame tHe ImMiGrAnTs thatās exactly what they want you to do then, theyāll use the same scare tactics and anti-immigrant rhetoric to win you over in the next GE and screw you over again and then youāll blame the immigrants and round and round we gošššš - +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 Yes, I know they went to immigrants! You only have to hear them talking for a start! It is nothing to do with Boris or politics. Labour, in power, did nothing, or very little. The coalition was the same. Whatever YOU say, we have too many immigrants. It is like pyramid selling. The more immigrants we get, the more we need. Everyone is too politically correct to say otherwise. I am pissed off with the whole system of trying to bid for a housing association flat, that ends up being given to a foreigner!
I trust you would be willing to put up with tax increases to fund a massive social housing programme? I am not the only person in our locality that feels the same way. Those that can afford to buy or rent privately just do not really know what it is like. - +1 y
Ahhhh your racist bitterness is showing!!!ššššššāØāØāØBlame the immigrants but I donāt see you saying anything about wealthy upper-class people who have empty houses and flats in certain parts of the countryšš
Love how you just ignored all my points about immigrants contributing to the economy and doing the jobs the born British public wonātšššāš¾āš¾ - +1 y
@Jessica405 As a passionate anti-immigration activist I think the first thing you should do is tell your family to move out of Australia so they can stop taking the jobs and houses of the indigenous peoplešš
Then take an ancestry DNA test to see where your family were before they immigrated to the UK and then, you can āgo backā to wherever that isššLife was said to have started in Africa soooo if you want I could start you a GoFundMe so you can go back to Africa?šššššš¾šš¾šš - +1 y
@Jessica045
Housing is clearly not even marginally relevant to the original asker of the question.
And if you lack housing, build more. It aināt difficult. - +1 y
The government has the power to easily redirect fiscal spending and start large housing programs. Except they donāt, and that in essence is due to the voter not caring enough about it.
- +1 y
@tartaarsaus this has been the case for multiple governments, there is no great desire to go back to building council housing.
- +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 There is plenty of housing and land for everone in Oz. It is not so here. Housing is so much better out there than the rabbit hutches we have here.
I will ask you some questions:
1. When do you think we will reach our limit of immigration?
2. What will that level be?
3. What do you think my boyfriend and I should do about being able to live independently?
4. Can YOU come up with some workable solutions instead of being critical, which is only too easy? - +1 y
It is the Margatet Thatcher attitude. Blow you, Jack! I'm ok! There is no desire to fund social housing. A basic tennet of our various governments. Why? It is not viable. Pass the buck onto the private sector. Flog off council housing to the occupiers at knockdown prices. Funded by the taxpayer.
I have yet to see some sensible ideas. - +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 I am an amateur genealogist. DNA and public records show I am part English, Welsh, Scots, Irish, French, and Asian. The Asian bit is documented as being from North Borneo. There may well be others yet to be found. I can settle in a lot of places! š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£

@Jessica405 So at some point, someone in your family would have been an immigrant here but now immigrants are getting houses and youāre not you donāt want them here? Got it.
There isnāt millions and millions of immigrants coming to the country, like the propaganda you get fed tells you lol, thereās a few hundred thousand- weāre not being āpushed to our limitsā at all. If an immigrant comes to this country and works hard which they do, I see no issue with them getting a house, they came here, worked, contributed to the economy- so I see no issue.
If anything Britain needs immigrants with our aging population and shortage in certain industries, such as the trucking industry, farm work, immigrants fill most of them jobs because theyāre willing to do such jobs whereas the vast majority of British born people are not lol. - +1 y
@SpiderManFan2002 Because we are too willing to support people that sponge off the state! That is why so many economic immigrant come here. Have a look at some of the urban spread happening in our towns. Small houses at hugely inflated prices, partly because land IS in short supply!
There appears to be much easy criticism, but very few practical suggestions. Sure, I am bitter! Both of us 7 years at uni, and no chance of a home while we pay off enormous student loans etc. - +1 y
Like I said, the more we let in, the more we need to look after them. When will it end?
- +1 y
The practical solution is fairly easy. Direct government funds to building more houses. Job done.
And lol, it is actually quite difficult to immigrate to the UK with no job or a very low-paying one. Asylum seekers are the exception to that. However, youāre basically bound by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and various international treaties to accept the right of asylum by legitimate asylum seekers. - +1 y
Except they donāt all sponge off the state, many of them help fill our skills shortages in many areas of work- and the government simply needs to invest more in housing, immigrants arenāt the problem here.
Many economists conclude that immigration is good for Britainās economy. Studies suggest that immigrants actually boost public finances because they spend more in direct taxes and actually make much less use of benefits and public services- but hey I suppose you know better than economists and people who study these things because you read an article in the Daily Mail stating otherwise lol - +1 y
And if weāre talking about EU
āEU immigrants are more educated, younger, more likely to be in work and less likely to claim benefits than the UK-bornā
āChanges in wages and joblessness for less educated UK- born workers show little correlation with changes in EU immigrationā
āEU immigrants pay more in taxes than they take out in welfare and the use of public services. They therefore help reduce the budget deficit. Immigrants do not have a negative effect on local services such as crime, education, health, or social housingā

Am I racist if I consider the UK to be a white country even though there are non-white people born and non-white people who have immigrated to the UK?
