What do you think about Caitlyn Jenner running for governor of CA?

I saw her interview on Hannity and was extremely disappointed. It was awkward, she was wishy washy on major issues, and refused to give firm answers. I thought that she could serve as a bridge for the Republican Party. People would see that even trans could be Republican politicians which dismantles the stereotype that all Republicans are a bunch of intolerant bigots. It would force democrats to consider the idea that most people who vote Republican do so for reasons outside of bigotry and racism. Very disappointing. I think she’d be better than the current governor, but still quite terrible.

I’m not from California, but I would not want a celebrity running my state. Celebrities are out of reality of how day to day people live. The only knowledge she has is her experience of being trans. Being trans does not equal to knowing how to run a state properly. Being a celebrity = being a part of the corrupt system

I came east for college (Ohio) and built a life here that isn’t possible back home unless you make at least five times my salary.

Most of my income comes from entrepreneurial ventures so I’m able to afford a pretty good life out here, but they’re creating every disincentive for me. The taxes that will be paying will be going down to a dark hole of just endless mistakes that they keep making. It’s wildly frustrating and I rather have my income go towards a solution rather than special interest and terrible economic decisions. I got some investment properties in Dayton and I like the community. I don’t understand why the working class want to live here anymore besides the weather. Especially with remote work now bing the norm. Particularly I’m looking at TX, AZ, and FL.

Even my 70 something dad is looking at selling his (third generation) business and getting out. That’s how bad things are, especially in the Bay Area.

She won't win the primary. Too many Republicans would be put off by her personal situation. If she had decided to run as a Dem she might actually have a chance or even as an independent but she has no way of getting on the ballot in the general election as a Republican.

im not voting for not LGBT person. i agree with everything HE says. but I went to the website and no mention on how to stop crime. i need someone hard on crime. i get it most Mexicans and blacks won't like it but you never know.
