How do you feel about Marsha Blackburn running for governor in Tennessee?

Blackburn announced her bid to replace Republican Gov. Bill Lee, who is term-limited

"Trump is back. America is blessed. And Tennessee, better than ever.”

Her major primary opponent is Republican Representative John Rose of Tennessee 6th congressional district. A January survey from Trump’s pollster Tony Fabrizio found Blackburn had an 82 percent approval among the state’s primary voters.

If elected, Blackburn would not only appoint her successor in the Senate — she’s not up for reelection until 2030 — but become the first female governor in state history.

Blackburn is awesome, so I hope she ends up in whatever role that lets her make the biggest difference. Marsha is the one that asked judge Ketanji Brown Jackson what a woman is. Of course the supreme Court Justice that will sit on the bench for the rest of her life, had no clue what a woman is. Jackson is Biden's DEI appointee to the supreme Court.

Congress is a swamp. Also - there is very small majority in the House (so a lot of discussing to convince either the most moderates or the most right-wing members to support a bill) and in the Senate you need 60 votes to bypass filibuster (so also a lot of discussing).

As a governor, you have state legislature that will almost always support your ideas.

Senators are pretty powerful, especially ones with safe seat, more powerful than most governors, but so get your point.

As long as they are blue that is what people will vote for to end the insanity, including a large wave of republicans from what I hear. So she'll be outta luck.

I have issues with this. You need to research everyone you choose to vote for.

There was some guy claiming to be turning democrate to run as a dem. He was on Jen Psaki last night. I was too tired to remember this name. That happened twice I believe in FL this past presidential election time too. And should not be allowed. If you switch beliefs it comes across as political moves.
