Is the Colonial Pipeline ransomware attack really a plot to cure Americas obesity crisis?

Americans face an oil shortage thanks to being too dumb to prevent a cyber attack. Now while most sane people believe this is about money, I put it to you the real reason is to cure Americans of obesity.
It's a well known fact no American walks more than 50yards and they drive everywhere. So without gas they'll be forced to exercise. And let's be honest, no American is going to walk to a fastfood restaurant so it's a double whammy.

It has nothing to do with obesity. It's just a plot to drive up gas prices. The current administration wants to get rid of fossil fuel so they're intent on making it prohibitively expensive to drive, just like they're driving the price of ammo up to dissuade gun owners from going to the range.

Lockdowns and restrictions that destroy small businesses for a virus that has a higher survival rate than the seasonal flu, the Suez Canal incident where a six day blockage causes shortages for months, now the Colonial Pipeline. These are not unfortunate incidences. One by one they're removing the bricks that make up the foundation that the developed world sits on.

Set it up so that your 9 - 5 job isn't sufficient to live on. We're already seeing impacts from the money the states are handing out. Every business around here is severely understaffed because people are getting more money each week sitting at home than I make with five hours of overtime.

Take away the jobs. Make it so that if you don't live in a population center you can't afford to go to work or buy your commodities. Once you invest the gas make it so that you have to choose between eating a well balanced diet three days in the coming week or eating junk all week. Expand the welfare state until it collapses, seize the businesses so the government can recover their losses.

That's when the handlers will step out from behind their puppets and seize control. We are about to experience a global scourge that people risked their lives to escape in the Soviet Union, Cuba, and North Korea. This time around there will be no place to escape to, and it's going to be much worse than what the defectors tried to warn us away from.

Spot on poppy. I live here.. it is incredibly difficult to get food without a car. All of our communities are sprawling so we have miles upon miles of road to get food or drink. We inefficiently transport our stuff over truck from city to city this is why we are the number one consumer of petroleum on the planet, bad infrastructure planning.

Pretty much true of the uk too, unless you live in a town getting stuff can be a nightmare. We're driving on roads designed for horse and cart.

I believe the Russians plotted this attack because of their love of dramatic irony. Russians are clever and they knew the British would be the first to make fun of fat, stupid Americans. Now, what could be more amusing to a Russian that to watch some emotionless snaggle-tooths have a laugh at the oil they lost 300 years ago.
