For me, I feel like boys care about looks way more than girls. A lot of boys in my school will just comment on girls bodies/looks for absolutely no reason, it’s extremely weird to me as groups of girls don’t ever (in my experience) comment or even talk about boys that way.
One time at school (in gym class) my class was running along the track and I was near a group of boys (which was a huge mistake) and two of them ended up grabbing my butt out of no where. Their entire group was just going around grabbing girls butts that they found attractive and pushing, shoving, and making fun of girls they found unattractive as a “prank” looking back I probably should’ve reported them but I wasn’t even aware that what they did was wrong at the time. If anyone has any experiences, feel free to share cause I genuinely am curious at what other people personally think.

Everyone does, regardless of gender. We assume that people who are attractive have more desirable personality traits by default. This is known as the "Halo Effect." You subconsciously ascribe positive attributes to attractive people; you will be more likely to view them as intelligent, kind, generous, etc... If you view the character of attractive people in a more positive light on average, you will treat them nicer than you do average and ugly people, on average. This is the case because we treat people of admirable character with greater respect and kindness.
When you talk about school, all I can think of is everyone's hormones are in overdrive. No one knows who they really are yet, they're just trying to impress and be noticed. I know I treat everyone better than they treat me. If some is a bitch or asshole to me, I will make them regret it by killing them with kindness. Thats just how my brain works. If a perfect 10 or perfect 0 talks to me I will talk to them back and treat them with respect. If an attractive woman doesn't treat me with respect they lose attractiveness very quick.

I know guys do because they’re driven by their dicks and rarely use their heads. Me, as female, completely NOT desperate for sex with zero ulterior motives treat people how they treat me. Law of attraction. If you show up with a bitchy attitude and scowl on your face I’ll return the favour. Show up with a smile and speak to me politely I’ll do the same.
Honestly? I think if I find a dude attractive I get more nervous than anything, I’m awkward talking to strangers- but I’m way more awkward and shy if it’s a dude I find attractive- I can’t help that though🤷🏾♀️
You know, without targeting the questionnaire specifically here, it is such a tragically stupid thing to see women who comment as if men are the only ones who do this. I've seen and heard this many times; They say that they'd NEVER even PRESUME to treat someone based on appearance and talk as if they speak for the entire female sex whilst simultaneously putting down males for being "all about that", when we all know fully well it is enormously wide spread for women to favor attractive men. I know this first hand. I was popular with girls in high school and had a quite less than attractive acquaintance who approached women with a particular set of comments and pick up lines and was deemed creepy and weird. Enter me, same approach, I'm bold and seductive and I got away with far more than he could. This happens all the time so to those women who like to claim faultlessness, stop embarrassing yourselves and wasting our time. Both sexes are shallow.
Of course. I don't know why GaG is the only place on the net where people pretend they don't have biases, preferences, etc. And that extends folks basic privileges. Here you can find some of the nastiest trolls on the Internet. They dog people over looks, race, etc. while simultaneously claiming those they do not abuse do not experience privilege.
Appearance only affects whether romance is a possibility, it does not affect how I treat people platonically. I do think for most guys, although they don't necessarily treat unattractive women poorly, they do go out of their way to treat attractive women *extra* nice. However, I am specifically anti-simping, so I make it a point to treat unattractive and attractive women the same.
This is an amazing question because statistically everyone does. Men and women alike we just like conventionally pretty people. Folks will do more for you if you are pretty and pretty people specifically attractive men are notably more successful in business. Look it up, it is wild.
I treat anybody the way they treat me. If the person is attractive and crappy towards me I will be crappy towards them. If the person is unattractive and nice to me I will be nice to them. Goes the other way around too. I’m more about the personality. Based on their personality is where I find them the most attractive. Looks are just part of it.
Sometimes but I try not to. It's not nice. If a woman I find unattractive tries to ask me out, I simply decline them politely. Unless they get angry with the response, I treat them with the same respect I treat anyone else.
Probably. Asian women are discriminated either way. I have posted some pics of good looking Asian women and they were not well received. There is a bias against Asians in America. Worse than black people and Hispanics.
I don't want to treat people poorly regardless. I wouldn't feel too good if i hurt someone or made them feel bad even if I said something accidentally hurt someone which i have done. asking for forgiveness helps
I think so. I mean why do you think gay men put so much more effort into maintaining an attractive appearance than straight men? Because the people who they're trying to attract (other men) are more visually oriented.
This happens on both sides of the fence. Depends on the person as well. I personally treat women I’m attracted to, better but that doesn’t mean I’m being a jerk to ugly women. Every one gets respect , just not all my attention.
I admit i do have a prejudice when i first meet someone but i acknowledge this and take time to learn from them and study them. This helps me to see inside for who they are truly. Often they are very beautiful.
I do, but honestly, I'm also attractive. I've been around a lot of ugly men and women, who seem to go out of their way to be assholes to attarctive people
I worked as a casher once a girl tried to get an extra discount , honestly she was 9/10 very very beautiful. She thought I'm a simp too bad she came to the wrong person. No means no... 😁
If you're surprised then FYI presentation matters and it's not just men's standards. Speaking of anecdotes, i can also say i feel there also a lot of women who are after looks.
