Yes I am. I like the whole concept of being able to send money directly to someone else w out the banks having to be involved. I’ve made a few thousand off of it so far by getting in when the price is really low. For instance dogecoin, I bought into it when the price was.0645, so I was able to acquire something like 7,000 “coins” It eventually went up to 0.71 before it dropped tremendously but I had sold a majority of it before that so I made back what I put into it plus more. It may not be “real” money as people say but you have to realize that w crypto currencies there’s a cap on how much is out there unlike the US dollar that can be printed non stop causing the price of the dollar to go down in value. It’s kind of exciting as well. Plus it’s “real” money once you sell it and cash out.

I am not up in the crypto currency craze at the moment because I don't trade crypto. I am a minner. Right now I don't have enough computer power to mine.

I have made some money mining though. I find trading any currency involves quite the risks I am not prepared for at the moment.

I will let the risk takers play the game. When they win big, good for them. When they loose, I am never affected because I at not gambling anything. Besides I am spending energy to make money therefore, I am rock solid.

All very well saying you're sitting on a 16k raise in crypto value and 500k portfolio, but it's pure speculation, you'll probably get about 100 bucks real cash for it as it's too much risk.

Until they actually sell it, and have that cold hard cash, they've got nothing but speculative value.

I am not into the crypto thing and although I have considered investing a small amount just to see what happens, I have stopped myself each time for various reasons. One reason is it seems like a lot of people complain about not having access or can't take their money out when they want to.

Another reason is I don't like how easily the value can be manipulated. I just don't see it as being a reliable safe place to put my money. Better off buying real estate or precious metals.

The good thing is that it’s more real than the monopoly money that governments print and not controlled by them.

But it’s annoying to see people who don’t understand or believe in the technology just buy in because they think they’re going to make a quick buck.

I will answer a question with a question. What country will allow their currency to be controlled by another country? When you have over 90% of the asset controlled by less then.01% percent of the owners then you have a problem.
