I don't know if they are part of BLM, but the ones that block freeways, streets, or burn cars, and destroy property of those, that have nothing to do with whatever they say they are protesting, and fuck those people, need to go to jail!
Just because you are angry and feel that the police did something wrong, does not give you cause, or reason to burn some grandma/grandpa store, or trash, and burn cars, on the street!

Have some sense! How does burning some person's store do anything for the cause against police abuses? How does burning some person's car, just because it was there, do anything to support BLM?

I believe in equality, and yeah, there have been some serious abuses of power, by the police, in many cities, but destroying the property of people that have nothing to do with that makes me totally against that violent, abusive movement! These rioters, these that burn and destroy, are no better than those they claim to be "protesting" against!
BLM claimed to stand up for blacks, in a society that it claimed hates them. But the reality is that most players in the NBA and NFL today are black. And are (or used to be) worshiped - even in spite of their felony records!

In the end, the only group that benefited from BLM... were its founders / leaders, and communist scumbags. And Antifa. And pedophiles. The blacks it claimed to want to help? Just as bad off today, as if BLM had never existed.
And worse, even: all of its rioting and demanding and the weakness of the courts in Minnesota to cave to the mob set a new legal precedent: if the correct groups affirmed by Marxist insurgent scum place enough pressure on a courtroom to reach a particular decision in advance, then show trials are perfectly acceptable now.
Dereck Chauvin's court case was a three-ring circus. And by caving to the mob, the judge became the top clown, with the jury not far behind. They didn't even reach a unanimous vote on all issues! But convicted him with a hung jury anyway! Three times! Three different charges! For the same, singular act!
This sort of approach would have readily been thrown out as mistrial insanity in any other courtroom. But folks didn't want their neighborhoods to burn, so they played along. And then, for some other insane reason, BLM burned the neighborhoods down anyway. So all that capitulation and forsaking of honor and justice... was for NOTHING!
Minnesota (failed to have) learned the hard way what happens when you negotiate with terrorists. Just like how Kenosha failed to learn the hard way that you can't mix terrorists and pedophiles and unleash them on law-abiding civilians without disastrous results. Far from locking up Kyle Rittenhouse, it should be Wisconsin's governor that was put on trial! Malfeasance in that state reached epic new levels last year.

BLM was never about what it purported to be. It made over a billion dollars... Yes a BILLION, and none of it went to black communities, or schools, or anything else. It went to line the pockets of the DNC, and the major heads of the organization.. they are nothing more than terrorists for profit.
that is why Two of the heads of the organization left recently. One because she was caught spending the BLM money to enhance her own life, Buying multiple mansions, and one because in his own words, it doesn't do or support what he felt like it should..
They don't support the message because they don't want to support it publicly due to the fear of judgment from their peers.
Let's not forget the number of videos and clips we saw of undercover cops and white people trying to incite a riot when it was peaceful.
Also, keep in mind the number of times this has been happening, people have been peacefully protesting for the longest and still no answer or change, it is quite evident that peaceful protest doesn't do anything. So the moment that people are not being heard and are being brushed to the side understand that there is a lot of rage and anger that is being held back so when things like these occur they are going to lash out and show their pain. Is it right? of course not but also understand where they are coming from before deciding "they didn't have to do all that" when they have been following the rules for the longest.

I initially supported them when a friend explained it to me, but then when it turned into tearing down historical monuments and blocking highways.

They've been there for a long time, but more importantly, they've done absolutely nothing to benefit "black lives." They've done a lot of self-enrichment at the top, and passed on millions of dollars to very far left politicians, and that's about it other than inflicting massive damage on any actual social progress that has happened over the last 60 years.
Well I think they got aggressive when they called for killing of cops and became doubly aggressive when they barricaded doors and burned down the police precinct (luckily they are incompetent so no one was killed but it wasn't for a lack of trying on their part). But maybe thats just me.
