Its an academic concept that sort of works like a tool to examine the racial component in law. Its kind of like having a philosophical magnifying glass that allows you to see things from a different point of view and can be useful in spotting problems that might otherwise go hidden. Strictly speaking that is all it is, a simple tool for law students based in philosophy.

Well, that sounds like something I can 100% agree with, but I wonder if it’s going to be practiced or taught in this way. In other words, maybe in reality, CRT would be something like

“Hey black folks, all throughout history, white folk have done all sorts of things to keep you down and the remnants of what they’ve done still plague you to that day. If you’re wondering why you’re not successful, why there’s high crime in your neighborhoods, etc. White folks are basically to blame.”

I’m just afraid this will be the essence or message of CRT in schools, especially with younger kids.

Kids who have no taste for racial intolerance, but will learn that their success or lack thereof will primarily be due to race.

How does this help with creating friendships among kids?

Or even fostering a successful mindset of working hard to achieve one’s goals?

No one was even sort-of discussing teaching CRT in schools until Heritage Action decided to make it their caravan. Also people are still not discussing it. It as entirely fake problem. Indeed, it is preferred that way, because then the right can say whatever they want about it and no one knows (or cares) enough about it to defend it.

Well, I just wanted people to check out the video not that the video by itself debunks the entirety of CRT 100%.

I don’t even have a 100% grasp of what CRT is but I do have a working knowledge of it.

CRT is complicated. It's complicated enough that lawyers aren't teaching it until. thwir last years and if you can't read a whole library of complicated laws then you probably have trouble understanding it.

Essentially it tried to explain why black people remain something of a second class citizen civil war and other revolutions. It tried to approach the decisions and laws of the country based on race as a factor rather than whatever the politician said.
