I had never heard the word until February this year when I joined.

I think it was 2nd day, about 4 blues were bullying a pink.

No one else had stepped in so I just did what is normal with bullies.

then when you start dealing it back to these bullies they start with the simp word and the alpha beta crap.

I had to ask what it meant, even then it confused me as there is zero chance I would fly from the UK to the US under the impression I could meet anyone, girls are actually switched on and crazy English guys sit on same level as axe murderers.

So it’s reduced to an online thing, which means it’s fairly impossible to simp, that and I am a twat.

I actually have respect for most people, I hate sexism, racism and especially anti LGBT 🏳️‍🌈 stuff.

invariably those using these words basically hate women, some in real life you would report to the police as potential high risk individuals.

most do not have the confidence nor even the intelligence to communicate with girls.

the other thing, a number have Pink accounts which is so ironic.

me, I don’t give a toss really, I’m better than them and the vast majority are Cockwombles.

It doesn't. There's a difference between being respectful and a complete doormat.
Others try to put a label through their pre assumptions. Not to be taken too seriously if you know you're doing the right thing.

Honestly it doesn't and this site has a really bad habit of throwing around terms as insults when they have 0 idea how to properly apply them. It's like watching my grandmother try to watch and explain tiktok videos. Very awkward and cringey when I see people use that one wrong, use feminist as an insult when they really mean something more radicalized, or actually just about any negative generalized term for an entire race/gender/following that they don't agree with (mostly looking at you political people).

I knew a boy who spent his time and money on a girl for 4 years while the girl humiliated him and broke up with him in the end. He was the definition of simp, and I call him that because both me and my best friend respected him and wished he respected himself.

Because respect is a reward. It should be earned never given, they will walk all over you. If she doesn't earn my respect there's no point in wasting my time. I could have made more money, or gotten more stuff done. I will never respect a woman that doesn't show she respects me. It puts the burden of performance on her because I'll be happy regardle$$. A certain amount of respect is given, but the rest of it is earned. And if you respect someone just due to their gender, or do things that you wouldn't do for just an average person, or a man, then that may be why they call you that.

But I've been called all sorts of stuff. When people call me something that is not true, it tends not to bother me.

I think that was a misrepresentation of the word originally being taken as a joke and it has become the official definition now.
