Trump had his pluses and MANY negatives... primarily his mouth that got him in hot water every time he opened it. His policies on the other hand were about half and half. Half of them were great policies while the other half failed to take in to consideration of the nation as a whole. His views were far too one sided and it seemed like he was only president to prove a point, rather than truly "Make America Great Again." He did do some good in this country but he did a lot to tear it apart as well. He would have been a far better president if he had A: Kept his mouth shut on social media and B: Enacted a policy that holds business owners responsible for hiring illegal immigrants, made the process smoother to become a legal citizen, and give those who are already here a real chance at becoming a legal citizen and put the money spent on the wall elsewhere.
Biden's primary problem is that he fooled the world in to thinking he is something that he is not... a good man. His secondary issue is that he is clearly losing his mental capacity and having trouble with his memory and his pull from Afghanistan that he blames on Trump was his fault alone when he pulled out the troops without first getting U. S. citizens out.
We as the United States cannot protect the world from itself and we need to stop trying to be the world police. We create more problems than we resolve when we do this and most Americans most likely feel the same way. We need to focus on our own people and get our own country right before we start worrying about how to influence other countries.
Our people are town apart right now, ready to go in to a civil war with each other... that needs to be fixed ASAP and so far, no president has done crap to get that fixed. When we get a president who is committed to doing this... only then will we have a great president again. Until then, whoever is in the White House is nothing more than a mouth piece for the establishment rather than a speaker for the people.
@Nick473 Yes, there is a clear double standard there, which is why we need better people to lead America. Right now all we have are people who want to gain complete dominance over the other and we simply can't function as a civil society like that. This country needs unity, regardless of which political party provides it... tome that doesn't even matter. Our country is in pain and it needs healing. Fix America first, worry about the rest of the world once we get ourselves in check. You can't fix somebody else's house when your own house is in shambles.
It's easy to improve Trump. Yet some of his policies look stupid to me, like allowing trans to compete in Sports with women or retiring the military from Iran.

I'm also not from the USA so can't say if he has improved things or not but things don't appear to be going well however in his defence he took over at a very difficult time mid-pandemic but the withdrawl from Afghanistan has been handled very badly but that's the UN various allies including my own country so not just on the USA

Everything Trump did was to put America 1st. All the trade agreements he negotiated made sure American interests were protected. Building the wall on our southern border was to keep illegal aliens OUT of the country, since they drain US resources by the BILLION$ every year. He took steps to keep this country safe. He also has a big mouth and there were many times he should have kept it shut. He is NOT the racist so many claim.
Biden has done EVERYTHING to put America LAST! He's killed American jobs from the 1st day in office. He's spent $TRILLIONS of dollars we don't have, causing inflation of prices to skyrocket. People were already complaining they needed minimum wage set at $15/hr. At the rate inflation is going, they're going to need double that just to make ends meet. He's not enforcing our immigration laws and the stupidity in Afghanistan is beyond imagination, the way our withdrawal is going. Everything Biden does, turns to shit in short order.
Biden has been like this for his entire time in Gov't. I thought Carter was bad until Obama was President. Then we get Biden and of all three, he's by far the worst President this country has had in my lifetime. Its gonna be a miracle if there's a country left by 2024 when we vote to replace this asshole.

He is way worse than Biden, gas prices have more than doubled in the 7 months since he took office. Inflation is sky high and the Democrats are spending money like crazy with tax and spend policies with who cares attitude towards the debt. They even say the debt doesn't matter.
Not that Republicans are much better at debt management but at least they say it matters, Democrats have just given up on that, and figure so what if the debt hits a 100 trillion, won't matter.
They are also trying to shove through bad policies, that are popular because hey who doesn't like free stuff from the government right? free stuff policies are always popular.
The covid relief stuff this year, had very little to do with covid relief and had tons of pork buried in it, things not related to covid at all.
The no eviction orders are just causing housing to go sky high, both in rent and morgages. Land lords are leaving places empty to avoid renting to someone who doesn't have to pay rent.
Legally they have to, but when the order finally does end, there will be a mass of MILLIONS of people filing bankruptcy on all their past due rent to avoid paying it. Landlords then have to raise rent on future occupants to make up that lost revenue. They do not have high profit margins where they can eat it. One lady who has four duplexes already says, she is down 50k and letting them sit empty but will raise rent a 100 or 200 once the no eviction order goes away to make up that 50k somehow as she had to drain her saving for now to get her savings back up.
Now imagine that through millions of mom & pop rentals and the big business ones too. Democrats are causing all these problems with Joe Biden and somehow think the government can fix the problems it itself created.
Trump was a million times better and I hated Trump as a person but his policies were great for us.

@rosemilk - We'll see what happens when it's proven the election was stolen. I doubt the swamp will give up, they're too dishonest to do that. But perhaps with knowledge and proof, better stop-gaps will be put in place to ensure an honest outcome, and we'll have another election. Hopefully before the entire nation collapses.
