Because our founding fathers would be ashamed at how weak people have become. They had to literally boil fecal matter to get chemicals needed to make black powder for their rifles and not a single person complained, they had to keep marching while being shot at and the guy next to them dying, nobody complained and they kept marching. Soldiers on both sides of the civil war had to get their limbs cut off with no anesthetics whatsoever with filthy, sometimes rusty dull bone saws, nobody complained.

And now y'all are losing your minds over displaying the American flag or pointing out that socialism unequivocally leads to the death of the nation? Y'all are making comparisons to slavery because you don't like your job, whining about being oppressed despite having all the same rights as us but to your surprise, we don't support homos running around kids with their wobbly bits hanging out (which is a crime by the way).

People are getting pathetic and they are a disgrace to the country, grow a pair and shut up, men far greater than us didn't die for your freedom only for you to cry all day and all night about being the freest country on Earth.

Any question like this is going to just set people against each and drive a lot of arguing, with no one’s mind being changed.

Stop defining humans by what political party they are part of. Look at each person as an individual human who brings a lot more to the table than a political affiliation. Most regular people have a ton more in common vs things they disagree on.

Or…go ahead and continue judging people based on blue vs red, just keep falling for the divisive political strategy that the puppet masters want you to buy into.

Republicans are constantly telling people they shouldn’t be offended by obviously offensive behavior and Democrats are always lecturing on why you should be offended by something, even if it’s something trivial. Personally, I live in the middle. If something is offensive, I have no problem saying so. If something is way off base, I feel free to disregard it. An open mind and common sense go a long way.

If a republican feels discriminated against and complains about it, democrats are quick to tell him why it doesn't matter, and he shouldn't be offended. Just like the republicans they complain about.

People only care about their side. Their tribe. What they think is right, and fail to see that other people might not feel that way, or really give a shit what you think. Why are your thoughts more important than theirs? Why are theirs more important than yours? Who determines what is "right"?

Just because some nut claims he is Republican/Conservative does not mean he/she is Republican/Conservative.

Oversensitive fruitcakes will throw around all kinds of insults, namecalling, and worse. . . only to tell you you can't be offended.

Yet if you tell them off, they get to whine to the nearest authority.

A Conservative is nothing like that. A Conservative can relate facts. He can debate rationally. He uses logic, common sense and is practical.
