I don't know how you get over that and I say that as someone who has been sexually assaulted.

When I was in a support group for victims of assault, we shared our stories and one story that shook me too my core was a girl who was raped by her brother. The reason that it was so unsettling to me is because after I was raped, I stayed with my brother and if I didn't have his shoulder to cry on and his arms as my sanctuary, I don't know if I could have gotten through the trauma of that experience and I doubt I would be anything but a shell now.
