Nah, Trump is more like it. 😁
To name a few topics...
I feel like the people who trash liberals at colleges never actually went to college, hey just heard that that’s a thing, lmao. I went to college, for a looooonnnnnggggg time, lmfao, at a supposedly liberal school in a supposedly liberal state, and I never at any point felt I was being “indoctrinated” by the professors. That’s so dramatic, hahaha. I would see very liberal STUDENTS and student organizations, but I never felt any of the teachings were pointed, not over-the-top, anyway. And by college you’re old enough to hear shit and not have to take it as gospel because some has “Dr.” in front of their name. I think the whole “Critical Race Theory” thing is the new boogeyman, that’s like grad level stuff that would be a course in and of itself, not the guiding light of a school’s curriculum. I mean, you can tune into conservative media and they’ll TELL you this is all some huge thing going, but it’s either exaggerated or fabricated outrage in most cases. I see all these parents yelling at school boards, I mean, if there’s questionable material, fine, air your grievances by all means. But don’t be outraged if the school wants to replace Huckleberry Finn, because, if you’re white, maybe it’s no big deal to shrug off some stuff as “well, it was a different time…”, but what if you’re a black student? I read Huckleberry Finn this past summer, and not only is there the character of “N*gger Jim”, throughout the story, Huck Finn is wrestling with the morality of associating with an escaped slave, because after all, this is somebody’s property! Holy fuck, I was so uncomfortable with that, and if I was black, I can’t imagine I could even read some shit like that, that’s NUTS.
I’m not going to pretend I know every old book being culled and every new one being introduced, I’m sure there are some hits and misses, there are a bajillion schools in the country that you can comb through to provide an example, but some shit, the outrage is clearly coming from a white person with no reason to take offense, and they don’t care that someone else is offended, because they on some level feel like any and all outrage needs to be first approved by the white majority, and then we can ALL be outraged, but without white people signing off on it, it’s just “minorities complaining again.”
Anyway, the professors in tye-dye, or white professors wearing daishikis were very few and far between. As far as history, as a history major, I think it’s very important to explore history from different perspectives than just that of the victors who wrote it. I knew that without any teacher having to tell me, the old “three sides to every story: yours, theirs, and the truth” adage applies. Will there be people who are “extra” about things? Absolutely. And those are the folks the media will highlight to make you believe this has become the norm, so you freak out and stay tuned into their media platform, which…. wait for it…waaaiiiitttttt forrrrr iiiiiittttttt…. MAKES THEM MONEY.
😱 <——— my shocked face
You are exactly right, I’m currently in college and literally have never seen the “liberal indoctrination” that conservatives talk about 😂
Not unless he gets a PhD. In order to teach you have to go to school beyond a master's degree. Furthermore by doing so you choose to accept less money and teach. Really there is NO benefit to getting a PhD unless you want to teach at a university. Granted you can't teach at a university with anything less. Since 1) Trump doesn't have a PhD and 2) he will probably never seek to get one; he can never teach at a university.
I want Joe.
"So, math is, like... you know... have you ever thought about... say like at Christmas...
it might snow but sometimes it doesn't, but when I have soup during the day, I like crackers or maybe I just watch TV and sleep on the couch..."
Trump couldn't be trusted to hand out crayons in a nursery.

Dude, you’re the same age as me pretty much. I went to college from September 1999-May 2003. I never felt like I was being indoctrinated either, but things have changed since. When Obama came in safe spaces were ultimately created, dog therapy, etc. His Dear Colleague letter, which ended up causing the Parkland shooting. The Democrats have been control of the school system since the 60s. You don’t ever look at public schools graduation rates? What level kids can read at? New grading systems? How the average per student cost in the USA is over $13,000 per student? That’s more than some private school tuition, but they aren’t getting a $13,000 education. The teachers and the union are using kids to picket more money for themselves.
You forget the Covid lockdown already how the teachers union kept everyone from going to school because teachers didn’t want to go back? Being paid to do nothing is at the forefront of lefties.
You don’t hear much of anything if you don’t do your own research.
Can’t you see it with the way people write on here? Misspelling of simple words? CRT didn’t start happening til a couple years back.
While I agree that there does seem to be an under-representation of conservative viewpoints in a lot of colleges these days (from what I've seen and heard, at least; my time in college was a while back, and my school much more non-political), do you really think an egotistical blowhard who's not actually all that conservative is a good solution? I should think that someone like Thomas Sowell, or even Milton Friedman, would be a better choice.
Depends on the class.
I don't think I'd get much out of him teaching psychology, or really anything involving judgment of character. Most things involving business deals, speeches, negotiation and the like would be interesting.
I don't really care what a teacher or professor is like. Just so long as they effectively convey the course material. So, the students understand. That they don't stray from the course material. Wasting a students time.
You mean the guy who ran a fraudulent university? It’s would probably be the best way for him to keep his supporters how he likes them.
🤣🤣🤣
I'd probably prefer a good level headed centrist rather than Conservative or Liberal, as both of those are opposite extremes on the political spectrum.
George W would be better
I bet if Trump was given a teaching role at a major college they would have riots but there would be a line all the way down the street for people wanting to take his class.
No he would just sit there sniffing glue and telling the students that his daughter is hot.
You mean someone who runs a scam that bilks people out of money for phony courses like Trump University?
No way, I wouldn't him anywhere near the female students for starters.
And what else will he teach people? How to become bankrupt, lie your way through lifre, set up a cult.
If that were true, liberal professors would be replaced by 5 yr olds. Yet they’re still teaching your children.
Hell no, I don’t feel like getting taught tax fraud and how to get your skin so orange or how to trick a bunch of sheep into voting for you 🤣
Nope, I prefer a less abrasive personality for a teacher.
No, just his hot daughter. 👀
I would go back to school
I had a few, they were fun.
Yeah, that would be quite entertaining actually.
