We all know that Israel was formed over the world's guilt over the holocaust. I don't support zionism, but I also cannot support Israel's destruction. We are left with a situation that has become untenable. Israel has aggressively pursued expansion, incorporating lands under the guise of security. But what's worse is that it is on the brink of becoming an undemocratic nation. Doing everything it can to disenfranchise the Palestinian vote.

I don't know what the solution is, but we have to do more to hold Israel to account for its actions. The problem is that we are facing the same issue in the United States. Many Americans in this forum don't even support democracy any longer. Because their political goals do not align with the political process.

Israel buys a lot of weapons, bazillion$. Doesn't matter that the US taxpayers fund it because the military industrial complex makes all the money. They turn around and fund politicians, and frankly there's just not enough politicians, so different industries tap different politicians and just maintain a silent majority between both parties.

That's why we need campaign finance reform. We need to burn that shit to the ground and start from scratch.
