Are the MGTOW, red pill and blue pill community a real thing or simply for entertainment purposes? How do you feel about them?

I randomly started watching red pill, blue pill, MGTOW videos on YouTube. Do people actually have that mindset of I’m the alpha male blah blah😂 or is it for my entertainment. It’s such a toxic place have you ever watched Oshay duke Jackson. All I hear from his is it’s only the woman faults even when clearly it wasn’t. Or Kevin Samuels sometimes he drags men but damn he’s so brutal to the women there. At some point from watching a lot of those contents I kept changing my mindset to one that belittles me. But my friends dragged me back to reality. I can’t imagine going out with someone to hear the high value man nonsense 😂😂😂

MGTOW at its core has a solid philosophy - be your own man, stop seeking validation in others, and stop living your life for others - HOWEVER, MGTOW websites and channels are usually obsessed with talking about women, which is the pure irony of it all. MGTOW stands for "Men Going Their Own Way," but you can't do that if you're obsessed with women and all the wrong things they do all the time.

MGTOW is good in philosophy, but "MGTOW channels" and men are usually foolish and no different than feminists. (Most) Feminists are foolish and idiotic man-haters and "those men" are foolish and idiotic woman-haters. Real MGTOW you'd never knew existed because... *they don't actually tell everyone how MGTOW they are!* They are silent and actually doing what the philosophy says!

All of these communities are all part of the "Manosphere," but are actually quite different. Don't expect the mainstream media to be kind or the least bit accurate to any of these groups. So here's the difference.

MGTOW: Men Going Their Own Way:
Men who have given up on relationships with women, especially marriage, because they are more trouble than they are worth and deemed too financially and emotionally risky. They also focus on themselves and being the best, most improved men they can be. Usually divorced men in their 30s and 40s who are rightfully angry due to bitter exes. Some MGTOW are quiet and doing as the philosophy says. Others make obnoxious YouTube channels and blame everything on women like the male counterpart to feminists.

Men's Rights Activists (MRA's):
Men who seek to gain more rights in society, since objectively and factually, men have far fewer rights in Western society than women do. Most are egalitarian, but like MGTOW, some are woman-hating.

The Red-pilled (in relation to society):
Disillusioned people of either gender who don't listen to the mainstream media narrative or follow what corporations and the media tell them like sheep would. Usually center-leaning or right-leaning and has NOTHING to do with race or "white supremacy." If you think Biden is an idiot, the media constantly lies to us, and vax mandates are horrible and oppressive, then you're red-pilled.

"Redpillers" (in relation to men):
This is different from "the red-pilled." Redpillers are a catch-all term for males of the Manosphere. Similar to the same Matrix analogy of the societal version of The Red-pilled, Redpillers take the same cynicism and apply to love, relationships, and women. Redpillers can be MGTOW, MRA's, or incels, but are usually not favorable towards women, where any one of those other groups potentially can be.

Incels:
These are sex-less virgin men who are frustrated with their inability for any woman out there to find interest in them. Most incels are just unattractive looking, sexually frustrated virgin men growing up in a society that constantly sh*ts on them. Like the other groups, there are innocent and aggressive Incels. The aggressive misogynistic kind are what the radical left likes to stereotype as all incels (and all single men on the political right), when in reality, most incels are just meek or simpish. The difference between a basic lonely man and an Incel is that incels trade in their self-respect and dignity to be a simp or slave to a woman, where as a man with self-respect would never do that, no matter how lonely he was. Incels also have no standards and lack accountability for their own reasons for being single and virgins, unlike a standard lonely man, who will have standards and not blame others for his own failures to meet someone.

The thing about the whole MGTOW movement is that they take a very real problem, namely toxic women and it's offshoots, and do absolutely nothing about it. Over the last 7 years that I've been aware of this movement, they can be summed up with the following:

All their reasons for the their lives being fucked up, they don't take any responsibility to fix their lives. Moreover, a lot of their rationales are contradictions and hyperbole. Just take their acronym, Men Going Their Own Way, we already have a word for men who want to be single - it's called bachelor why the fuck do we need some multi syllabic phrase to describe one word? Oh wait, looking at history as a guide, groups who want to start a movement always go with some catchy sounding word/phrase to describe their ideology. And then there's the oft noted contradiction, for a bunch of men going their own way they sure spend a lot of time bitching about women.

There's a lot I can say about these guys, but I LMAO when they say, "Oh there's men who are MGTOW who don't know they're MGTOW." And my response to such nonsense is that healthy minded men don't go around identifying with some online movement of weaklings, he sees that he lives in a society that has a high level of toxic women and sets BOUNDARIES and doesn't allow such women into his life. And he goes on about his life and interests, not getting into a bitch and whine fest with weak ass males.

I think one thing those community does wrong is blaming it all on woman.

You can be a 6+ feet tall chad and a great guy but be deployed in a foreign war for many years ruining your relationship.

Maybe your male boss is an asshole and makes you work hard. Putting a strain on your relationship.

Maybe your male buddies who you thought were your friends are jealous toxic asshole. Trying to humiliate you in front of her, saying stuff behind your back or even trying to woo her themselves.

This is why it's so important for guys to have supportive male friends. I don't know how women going to work or equal opportunities make dating harder. Or if there was some utopia in the past. Like in world war 2 when millions of men were sent to death. Was it a good time for men? Or in the middle ages when kings and knights used to have 100's of concubines?

Some are good some are bad. The alpha thing is from the dating coaches trying to help guys game the system with hook ups. Much of the community is focused on mens support, physical and mental health, suicide prevention, financial advice & anti-simping.
