I heard some people thinking the SS Nazis were forced to kill and abuse Jews and other people in concentration camps and other places.

I find this ridiculous because there's no evidence they were forced and if you see what survivors had to say, you would know these people were Nazis and clearly sadists, and many got away with it.

Yes, all we can remember is what happened a century ago to just one particular race of people and sympathize and show empathy, and gather support for those who are doing quite well today by implementing ridiculous banking systems which are being misused by few people and causing chaos and crashing economies around the world.
Have you stopped to think how much debt the world is in right now?
Have you shown empathy by doing social work or donating to the refugees from war torn countries?

Why have we stopped caring for every human for them being just human, why do they have to be from our race and creed for us to start showing sympathy and support.

doesn't this show how biased we are and uncaring, unsupportive, selfish n ignorant towards humanity and to all the other atrocities that have happened since then in this world just for the sake of power. Look other countries around the world, isn't it the moral responsibility of one superpower to help the other failing and underdeveloped nations to make a healthy planets with zero crime rate and equality?

Or is this humanity... where we can't come together to stop people with power from looting poor countries for their resources?

Have we forgotten what caused it and is still happening in Africa and the middle East ( Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, Yemen) and now it's happening all over again to the Ukrainians?

Why do we keep remembering just one villian named Hitler and his actions? I believe there have been, there are and there will be hundreds of people who are far worse than Hitler, have we thought about what we can do to stop them?

When are we going to rise with just one motto that humanity comes first and stop the wrongdoers?

They were not forced it was compulsory. They were however trained how to torture and were encouraged to mistreat the prisoners.


There was one female SS guard whose name escapes me who actually quit. She was constantly being admonished to beat the prisoners and decided this was not for her.


It must be understood that the German army and SS were two separate entities. The SS were the Nazi’s privet paramilitary army. Although men were drafted into the Waffen SS, all concentration camp guard roles were voluntary, therefore no one can say they were forced to do it.

SS was in the know without question. Day to day citizens not as much, but there is "night of broken glass" where citizens paraded in slums destroying Jewish homes and livelihoods.

When the hammer dropped and allies won the war, when the civilians bear witness to the damages of the holocaust, it should have been within a logical leap that there own actions was responsible for the atrocity of the camps given enough state power.

It's possible. Like in any regime, disobeying orders usually follows with harsh penalties, up to and including death.

It also helps to remember that the term "nazi" does not describe the entirety of the german armed forces of ww2, but rather the political party that had control over it.

So, while there is no supposed evidence to back up the claim, I believe that in was true but only in small number of cases and the events were buried for propaganda purposes.
