It may hurt your feelings for sure, but separating racism from violence you can see violence is the much bigger issue. A greater motivator for violence and even racism itself, something that affects us all no matter our race, is greed. We have been in an age of Mercantilsm since the first empires arose in the ancient world. Mercantilsm is rooted in “scarcity” and “greed”. This global economic competition is what gave rise for the need for slave labor in the Americas in the first place, and probably what most are thinking of when they hear the word “racism”. Kill list usually goes: Blacks, Jews, Mexicans, Arabs, Everyone Else. If you are white and do not understand why some still curse your children look at Bolivia, they still hate you there, not whites, but this “white devil”. Potosi was known but untouched. They worked the miners to their deaths and to extract pure silver mixed ore with liquid mercury. Combine that with cocaine and guns on the Wild West frontier of Spain and you have Potosi.

I really don't think so. My mind is rather analytical in nature and prone to skepticism. So if you're very skeptical, you don't tend to judge people much with any confidence for the mere fact that they belong in some broad category. Actually, you don't tend to believe anything with great confidence.
So I find there are far too many exceptions to stereotypes associated with broad categories of people, like racial ones, to ever believe they apply when encountering an individual member of that category. I go with the assumption that every single person on the planet is the ultimate minority in a sense as a unique individual.
I'm also an extrovert and like to meet and befriend the widest range of people. Whatever racial or ethnic stereotypes I subscribed to when I was younger were too frequently challenged through this process until I no longer saw them being applicable at all.
Now if we're talking about trends, there can be trends that apply to a group of people. For example, most East Asians like rice. It's a staple food in most Asian cultures. Yet I've met East Asians who don't like rice and even prefer Western food like meat and potatoes. There are numerous exceptions here, and so I don't find any merit in seeing an individual of any race: white, Asian, black, Hispanic, and assuming I know anything about who they are just based on that.
I'm racist against my own people.. fuckin white trash bums that think they can criticize every other race for living off government assistance/food stamps/in project housing - yet they do the same fuckin thing! Living in the trailer parks, don't work, make loads of kids just to get free help and food.. yet they use the "n" word, call black people "spooks", Hispanic people "border jumpers" .. Yep basically everyone is racist except some people are racist against their own race. Those type of people typically don't survive a trip through prison. Reality finally strikes and they realize other races don't give a crap about them.

2. Manhattan was purchased by the Dutch.
3. John Smith was adopted by Powhatan and made a chief in the Tribe. That sounds like they were trying to force the English out real hard. Pocahontas married a white guy and died in England.
4. All of the land acquired from tribes in the Revolution and war of 1812 was ceded by those tribes to the Americans as spoils of war. They were British allies and lost. The land was given by treaty. That comprised most of the east coast.
5. All of the land we purchased in the Louisiana Purchase was bought by the French from the Indians. We bought it from the French and evicted them from the now newly acquired US territory.
6. All of the land forcibly stollen by force from Mexico in the Mexican War (yeah, we waged an unjust war of aggression there intentionally to acquire that land from Mexico) was owned by first the Spanish who also bought it from the Indians, then the Mexicans then it became ours.
Probably 65-75% of the land in the US was not stollen. It was bought or acquired by treaty. The Indians had made bad business deals. Sold much of the land to the Spanish and French. The deal was they sold the land and both of those powers agreed to let them maintain their way of life, technically making them French and Spanish subjects. However, when the US bought the land, we made no deal for them to continue living on that land.
Yes, depending on the tribe some land was seized unjustly. Also it want seized by just white people. Ever hear of Buffalo Soldiers? Ever hear the US Army had Indian scouts as accomplices in doing this?
Lastly if you feel all the US was stollen and you live in the US you are a benefactor of war crimes and in possession of stollen land. Right the wrong brother. Get off your stollen land and give it back to its rightful owner.

@Exterminatore My great grandparents immigrated from France and Belgium for supposed better work in the US. I have their citizenship papers from 1920 something. My other great grandparents on my dad's side came from Sweden and Germany to start a farm. I just don't like how some people don't value their own life and have some motivation. In general I'm not a racist. However there are some ethnic groups I do dislike, though this dislike has nothing to do with their skin color, features, culture, etc. It's much more about their attitudes, tendencies I don't care for, and their type of thinking. I suppose you could argue I'm racist for that.
Every race/culture has both good and bad things about them, and each one has their own ways that stand out. So for me there are a few groups of people I do particularly favor less because of how they can be and what they're thinking is like, but I can't say I've ever racially hated a group based on their ethnic status.

It's more hard to hate people when you attempt understand their intentions and why they are that way. At the same time there are some things I don't like seeing from people and it can sometimes be more common in a person's race, even my own race. I'm probably not going to love everything and every person 100% and neither is any other person. More people than not will probably like what they grew up around and or feel comfortable with it seems.

Well I have a cat with almost the same eye colour & I can guarantee you that she's not racist.
I am not either but I tend to have a strong dislike of black men who think have the right to catcall me or touch my body without my permission - this has led me to cutting the whole race off my dating card. Some say it's racist but I've never had a good experience with one as a partner. Obviously there are some good ones out there but just not in South Africa.
