Welp, let me take that open-ended question and try to narrow it down a bit. What would they have seen in my demeanor to make them think I was a pedophile? How much money do they have in disposable and non-disposable income to cover the massive lawsuit?

It depends on the situation. My neighborhood had atrocious tenants of a rental property legally removed after two years of unbelievable behavior. This was one of the tactics thrown at single woman who lived near me when they attempted to record heavy abuse. It’s never a good idea to back down from false allegations, or abuse in general, it makes their behavior far worse. Always document everything.

In person? Dang, not sure because it's never happened! I suppose it depends on if it's a man or a woman. A woman, I'd probably tell her to have a nice day, and then maybe report her to an authority figure by me for harassment. If it's a guy, I might do the same thing, or I might clock him. Hars to say. I'd like to say I'd be mature about it, but who knows.

Also, I'm curious why you are asking this specific question because normally people only ask that when they've done something that probably is really creepy 😅
