What do you think about the current political situation in Pakistan?

A few days ago Prime Minister Khan was ousted by a vote of no confidence because of a lack of keeping campaign promises and because of a weak economy.
Today the leader of the opposition Muslim league party was appointed Prime Minister.

Imran Khan was the first Prime Minister not part of the two traditional parties.

Some online are saying this was a plot to change the government of Pakistan because they were neutral on the Russia Ukraine war.

Possible. I heard he tried to call a general election.
I dont trust anyone called Khan because Khan is the most common name for sex offenders in my country and of course Khan is also the name of London crime mayor sadiq Khan. Also anyone called Khan Is very likely to marry his cousin.

Doesn't surprise me, in those part of the world the politician are generally very corrupted (even more than in ours countries).

Do you think Le Pen has a good chance?
From what I know it seems More likely then last time because Melenchon voters are more likely to stay home for Macron then Zemmour voters are for Le Pen.

I was surprised to see more young people support Le Pen over Macron according to polls.

I don't think she have a big chance of winning honestly, people are quite dumb sadly and they rather all vote for Macron (which make no sense considering he's the most hated president).
Young people supported Melanchon a lot too.

True, it seems like most GenZers (born after 1995) are either Far Left or Far Right not much in between.

I was also surprised to see the major parties like the Socialist party and UMP/Republicans got such a small precedent of the vote in the first round.
The parties that basically ran the France back in forth since De Gulle, it seems things are very much in flux.

Yes and it isn't really surprising considering that during many years people voted for right and left wing but those two were the same and never did anything

It's cause those two party and the middle wing (Macron) are too similar, they're all basically the same with nearly no difference so people rely on the extreme

It’s basically the same with the Republicans and Democrats in America in terms of them both doing the same things.
But we never get any new parties that get big enough to really challenge the two parties.

I hear really bad , worse than Turkey. Sri Lanka is really bad too, but Pakistan worse. India could be heading for a civil war. Political parties are fighting each other in streets.

Don't know, don't care. I just read that Imran Khan was well liked, but isn't president anymore, but I didn't know he was ousted. But honestly, I have no interest in Pakistan.

It’s not a country I look at with much kinship, but I don’t wish anything bad on them.
They are a solid middle power so it does matter to a degree.

Pakistan is strange. A lot of people are very Westernized, but a lot are still very radical. And I really don't want another Afghanistan or Yemen
