I have no problem with chemical abortions within 8 weeks of conception. I'm also fine with abortions up to 20 weeks as ruled in Roe v Wade, although I don't know why a woman would take that long to decide. The earlier the better as far as I'm concerned.
I don't advocate late term abortions unless the mother's life is at risk. I oppose cereal abortions as a means of birth control and think women who do that should be sterilized. But I do acknowledge that there are circumstances where abortion is the best choice.

As it so happened, I was the first of two children. My dad was 33, a WWII vet, and my mom was 29 when they got married. I was born nine months later. My parents wanted children very badly. My dad had a good job and provided well for our family. My parents cherished me and my younger sister, did the best the could, and provided us with a good life. We were lucky. Some kids aren't nearly as fortunate and wind up miserable.
