What is the difference between European life and American life?

I have been to Europe and I find them much nicer than Americans. is it because they are poorer than Americans or they are that way naturally?

The difference that I feel for myself (I was born, and raised in Europe): I have a centuries old history that gives me substance and self-reassurance.
I can only guess about America - but I'd feel somewhat irritated about my identity, because the culture (sic!) over there looks to me like a random collection of imported habits.
I do like ''America'' geographically, and also the original idea (lost, meanwhile) of trying a new, better and different way of ''making a living''.
But after greed and (kind of) egocentrism was made the social standard I can't see myself in that picture.

It depends on the country you're going to. Smaller countries with lower tourists counts take more interest in their tourists. Especially Americans who aren't known to take interest in "lesser" nations. They also live in a continent with a culture of open borders and cross country travel with many languages between them. Hell I live on the damn border in the US and the cockhead post comander won't let me go to Mexico. Plus the average American is a Billionaire compared to the average Albanian (And Americans tip!)

Ah Jesus, when will you Americans stop treating Europe like a country? There are about 30 distinct countries in Europe and nearly all of them have their own language, culture, food, wealth and attitude towards outsiders. What do you even mean by "European" life? Which country are you talking about? Because as a European I honestly have no idea what you're talking about... and some countries, for example UK I'd say are closer culturally to the US than to most of Europe.

I been to Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark Norway etc

Just a few day except I was in Paris one and half years and Berlin for 3 months

Those all are nice countries 😊 Spanish people are known to be very friendly and welcoming tho.

Born in Western Europe, lived/worked in the US for a couple of years, now back in Europe.

Very little difference really in terms of quality of life, however education and health care are more affordable in Western Europe.

I've lived on both sides of the pond, and there are some differences. Because there are so many different countries and languages in Europe, I've found that Europeans are generally more acceptance of people different from themselves, while some Americans have difficulty accepting people who are different.

They are less alpha than Americans and they have less fight in them than Americans. I am not talking about all of them, just the majority of them
