What's quicker getting a house for rent, house for sale or getting a house and moving it on a land that's already yours?

rEmnting a house is quicker than buying a house. Getting a house and moving it takes the most time. I know somebody who did this. He paid a dollar for a house the city owned and had to pay to move it to a piece of land his mother owned,.
