Regardless of your political party or beliefs...

It's sad that a US National Guard soldier drowned trying to rescue migrants who were illegally entering the United States from Mexico.

Even sadder is that the Biden Administration has made no comment about this. Vice President Kamala Harris is in charge of the US-Mexican border... shouldn't she say something?

This is a national disgrace. It is sad that the Biden Administration created such a dangerous environment at the southern border. Not only is the fentanyl coming across killing 100K Americans and is the leading cause of death of people 18-40, there are crimes reported every day from people who, are allowed to just come into this country from unknown places.
Biden was quick to accuse a Border Patrol agent of whipping illegal aliens. The agent was exonerated but there was no apology from the Big Guy. He will not acknowledge this death eoither and the fake news will not report it.

The White House was asked about the death of this guardsman. Instead of acknowledging some responsibility in this, Jen Psacki wanted to place the blame on the state of Texas because the National Guard is under their authority. Biden created this mess and the states have to clean it up, sometimes with fatal consequences.

@normalice Not true. It wasn't a border agent, it was a National Guard soldier who was sent by the Governor of Texas to help out with border security. Biden had nothing to do with that and, in fact, was opposed to National Guard involvement.

If true Biden could take the opportunity for an "I told you so," as republican sabotage and grandstanding for optics has already cost billions and now the death of someone Biden explicitly said shouldn't have been there. But sadly that won't do anyrhing as republican voters seem more motivated to vote Republican when their politicians screw them over.

Oh, but of course if Biden did that republicans would fake outrage about Biden politicizing the fallout of their political stunt, and their well trained base would swallow it whole without a taste of irony. So maybe silence is the better option.

Also like to point out that I am pretty sure Biden would want those people to cross the border normally and not try to do it through a crappy raft or whatever. The more Texas is trying to make it difficult the more people are going to die in stupid and entirely preventable ways.

I'd rather the border agents lived obviously, but it would be preferred if they were dying trying to kill them than this. They have heavy weapons after all, just mow them down for a couple of days and they'll stop coming
