I kinda hope not. Then we would likely have another 4 years of Trump to look forward to. Of course if they run Kamala, then "likely" is far too light of a term. And if by some chance he does win, we would probably have more projects that inflate until they die like BBB.

Democrats are already going to get swamped in the midterms. But we'll see how that plays out. Supposedly the best years economically are when the president is blue and congress is red. Maybe it's because Democratic policies start to bear fruit for the general public at that time. Or maybe it's just that gridlock holds things in place long enough for the economy to stabilize.

But I'd like to see a new generation of Democrats (And certainly Republicans for that matter). I was originally a Bernie fan (lol at my "new generation" in that case), but I feel like Andrew Yang is closer to what I would like to see. A little more solutions-oriented and a little less ideology-oriented. A little more "let's find an American way to do it" and less wanting to copy-paste Scandinavian policy here and expect it to stick.

I think he will not finish the current term. The Democrats know he is toxic and he has gotta go. Here is how I think this might go.
*Kamala will be pressured to resign.
*Biden will name Obama (!) as her replacement.
*Biden will either resign or be removed under the 25th amendment.
*Obama will be elevated to President. Under the Constitution, he can serve.
*Obama will name a new VP. It will be a moderate Democrat. I favor Jeh Johnson.
Trump or DeSantis will run against that person.

*Trump may replace Pelosi after the mid terms. Under the Constitution, he can serve.
*DeSantis will run in 2024 and win.
