He won't, and he didn't last time either, because anything like that happens far away from the people who benefit so that if caught, some nobody takes the fall. Case in point: the Clinton Foundation's money laundering scheme and the Russian Dossier hoax that were both thrown at the feet of a fall guy.

It would be incredibly stupid for the political insider faction to try and convince people that Joe would legitimately win an election right now. Instead, they seem to be attempting to smother Trump with legal fees and misleading clickbait style narratives, such as the recent $350,000,000+ fine for damages in a case where there was no case or damage to begin with, and the civil court case in which he was fined for defending himself against what is almost certainly a false rape accusation from a legitimately insane woman on the grounds of defamation. This is also why prosecutors in other cases are desperately trying to get court dates moved up so that it's non-stop, both for his legal team and campaign purposes.

Assuming that this tactic has the desired effect, it would still be a hail Mary for the DNC to replace Biden at the last minute with someone else, but their ongoing problem in this regard is that none of the names they've been teasing and attempting to prop up can even reach Biden's abysmal numbers. If they had a convincingly strong dark horse candidate to bring out from relative obscurity for this purpose, they need to be doing it now. Honestly though, in my opinion they'd be better off taking the loss, and coming back in 2028 with a convincing rebranding. I don't believe for a second that the Republican party is going to be able to take and run with a Trump (or any America-first mindset leader) presidency, and will almost certainly embarrass itself in the next cycle with petty infighting.

A lot of states have tightened up election laws by limiting mail in voting, requiring voter ID and having fewer voting machines. It will be harder to cheat like this. It looks like the democrats are trying to keep President Trump off the ballot or just tie him up in the courts. These tacticas have backfired because most Americans see it as election interference. . President Trump now has healthy leads in most national polls and is leading in almost all so called swing states, some show a double digit lead.

There is always the chance that they can cheat somehow but it will not be easy and they do not have Covid to use as a smokescreen.

I worry that since they really have no moved left they might try to take him off the board permanently

How does "having fewer voting machines" help anything? It will just mean longer queues to vote. All of this is to make it more onerous to vote, especially in Democratic leaning areas.

@goaded the voting machines are not very secure and they can be hacked. They can be set to discard certain ballots and once the machines are wiped it is impossible to tell if they were tampered with.

I don't think there are any voting machines that don't have a paper trail any more because you're not the only person to have thought of that. Hand recounts in all the states that did one confirmed that the machines worked and that Biden won.

Actually, there are still six states that include digital voting without a paper trail ("DREs without VVPAT"): Indiana (Trump in 2020), Kentucky (Trump), Louisiana (Trump), New Jersey (Biden), Tennessee (Trump), and Texas (Trump).

      ballotpedia.org/Voting_methods_and_equipment_by_state

Looking back to 2020, there were 15 states: Delaware (Biden), Florida (Trump), Georgia (Biden), Indiana (Trump), Kansas (Trump), Kentucky (Trump), Louisiana (Trump), Mississippi (Trump), New Jersey (Biden), Oklahoma (Trump), Pennsylvania (Biden), South Carolina (Trump), Tennessee (Trump), and Texas (Trump).

https://archive.is/8VuaE (Look for "without paper trail")

So Trump won 11 states to Biden's 4 in states with machines you say you don't trust.

@goaded It was the swing states Georgia and Pennsylvania that made the difference. . Both states were ground zero for elction fraud.

Oh, God. No, they weren't. And Biden would have still had over 270 EC votes had he lost both of them. (Do you really think a Democrat could have lost NJ? Biden was up 16 points!) Of course, you would never consider that votes Trump won could have been stolen for him.

Elections you win are fair, elections you lose are rigged. Bullshit.

He doesn't have to. All he needs is giving clown Trump enough situations to out-trump himself on the big stage and the majority will vote blue. Just like it happened many times since 2016, the latest just a few days ago, when the Democrats won New York's 3rd congressional district back.

How did Biden rig the 2020 election? (You see, I don't know one-one-millionth of everything and am willing to learn, especially how ol' Joe cooked last election.)

That implies he somehow rigged the election last time, when he wasn't in power and the states, many Republican run, established that he'd won the election handily. He didn't. He won't next time, either, because (a) states run the elections, and (b) he's in favour of democracy, unlike today's Republican party.

That propaganda would have put Pravda to shame.
Censorship and the rest of the illegal shit the Bidenites have done are not consistent with democracy unless your idea of democracy is Putin's Russia.

Do you agree that democracy is more than holding elections (which may or may not be flawed)?

You've shown many times that you don't understand US law or the political system, but you should know that there are multiple components to democracy.

@Avicenna The most important component to a democracy is how the people vote in the elections. The votes have to be counted faithfully, people shouldn't be unreasonably excluded from voting, and ideally it should be as easy as possible.

I trust Republican election officials when they say the Democratic candidate won in their state; don't you?

I notice that Republicans do purge their voter rolls enthusiastically at times, including under false pretences, like in Georgia a few years ago. I also notice they under-fund polling places in areas likely to vote Democratic, leading to hours-long queues to vote (Georgia, Ohio, Virginia). Not to mention gerrymandering in, say, Wisconsin that has reliably elected candidates to state-wide offices with 50% of the vote but just 2 of the 8 representatives, 30% of the state senate and 34% of the Assembly are Democrats.

I'm sure you agree those are anti-democratic actions? Far worse than making it safer for people to vote in the middle of a deadly pandemic.

He only reads what he's told to read. I don't think he even knows there are going to be new elections.
