Is it true that all African Americans have at least 10% to 15% European in them?

Blacks have a dominant part of African origin largely of West African type. East Africans have a large part of the differential genome of Euro / Asian origin with percentages ranging from 10 to 30%, the result of a re-immigration from the Arabian Peninsula which took place about 4000 years ago. Data from services such as 23 and Me shows how a genome-wide ancestry estimates of African Americans show average proportions of 73.2%, African, 24.0% European, and 0.75% Native American ancestry. The European origins are in almost all cases English or German.

For comparison, other groups such as Latin Americans have proportions of 6.2% African 18.0% Native American 65.1% European, Iberian type.

In the past there was a smaller percentage, but thanks to widespread tests like 23and me or similar they have found that black Americans are whiter than previously believed.

If I am not mistaken that is entirely subjective. Africa and Europe has mixed genes ever since the beginning. In a way it is unhelpful to consider it as Africa and Europe in this case since a major part of human history revolves around the Mediterranean Sea. Nations like Cartage, Greece, Rome and Egypt focused more effort on the area around the coast than they did the rest of their respective continents and as such the genes has easily jumped the gap back and forth all the way back in the bronze age and beyond.

Then we have the whole slave trade which was also a fairly horrible but definitely gene mixing event.

As for the exact percentage? That depends on what you define "European" and "African" as. If I had to guess, the further back you accept the terms the higher that percentage will be but we also have little evidence what genetic makeup a bronze age European and African had.

A lot of African Americans are showing their ancestry dna results, and all the ones I've seen have been part white.

I guess but those DNA tests are very arbitrary so dont take it as definitive. Basically the way they decide what is a certain group is just what DNA characteristics someone who can trace their lineage back in a certain area has. It is very short sighted and all that. They can be useful and fun but dont take it as scientific facts.

Actually it is probably more true that Europeans have 10% to 15% of African in them. I mean honestly the DNA is like 99% the same and.1% of a difference in the variation in which it appears in the coding and not so much as it being different were as it appears in different code sequencing.

If you test a African American DNA they have bigger portion of white than a normal African or Jamaican.

Some African American didn't probably have to much white in them so some might look closer to Africans.

That's probably why Jamaican share the closest DNA to west African
