This is a big reason there is the 2nd amendment, something Democrats want to take away or heavily restrict a right.

If the government gets too over bearing, including trying to limit or restrict the 2nd too heavily then it would be appropriate to take up arms. Disarming the people means there is nothing they can do at all.
