Do you consider me mixed race?

In order to answer your question, I found and read the following U. S. Census Bureau link…
https://www.census.gov/topics/population/race/about.html
…where it says…
“What is Race?
The data on race were derived from answers to the question on race that was asked of individuals in the United States. The Census Bureau collects racial data in accordance with guidelines provided by the U. S. Office of Management and Budget (OMB), and these data are based on self-identification.
The racial categories included in the census questionnaire generally reflect a social definition of race recognized in this country and not an attempt to define race biologically, anthropologically, or genetically. In addition, it is recognized that the categories of the race item include racial and national origin or sociocultural groups. People may choose to report more than one race to indicate their racial mixture, such as “American Indian” and “White.” People who identify their origin as Hispanic, Latino, or Spanish may be of any race.
OMB requires five minimum categories: White, Black or African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, and Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander.
Note: I’m sure other countries’ have similar governmental reporting policies
THEREFORE:
Based on the above U. S. Census Bureau information & your 23andme ethnicity results, I WOULD CONSIDER YOU “MIXED RACE” because your biological makeup has origins in more than one different continental/subcontinental people groups.
Go to be honest with you it really doesn't matter if you're mixed it doesn't matter what culture you're from you're still ninety-seven 98% of the same DNA as me with 1% of your parents DNA and with another Gene that Common Sense loving God gave to all of us because he didn't know where we were going to reside on this planet and knowing that the harsh conditions and elements that our weather system puts out he made it so we could all adapt no matter who you are you can adapt to any harsh conditions you're still exactly like me you're still exactly like your next door neighbor you're still exactly like 5 billion other people in other countries what people don't understand I don't know if you believe in God we are all one every single one of us we are all one if you believe in God you are the human race
Looks like at least one of your ancestors enjoyed themselves on holiday
What do you mean by that?
That somewhere in your past someone from one continent traveled to another land, and had sex with someone else. It’s just a joke.

Call me old fashioned, but I am happy to accept your decision as to whether or not you are mixed race.. If you want to be then you are, if not? then you are not.
I'd say you are mixed race. A nice, full mix. But, still, 77.3% sub-Saharan African is pretty pure.
You're beautiful, too.
Nope.
Both your parents are African.
Mixed race tends to mean both parent are a different race
If you are going by what "society" says, you need to separate ethnicity and race.
Otherwise, we are all one race- the human one!
No i dont think your mixed race. a mixed race is usually someone who is half half. your only 18.7% wich is not half.
not too many people are of pure blood except for maybe Aboriginal tribes their gene pool is not too diluted
No it's not until it's like 40 /60 or something like that
Your still almost 80% one race
I'm still not one race though. I'm just majority one race.
Nobody's 1 race lol
Africans are
yes... because you are not "Pure" anything... that makes you "Mixed"
I would say that you are more or less a HINZ.
We’re all mixed raced when looking at dna.
Looks Human to me.
