What do you think about The Philippines electing the son of a brutal dictator to be their new president?

Ferdinand Marcos Jr has won the Philippine presidential election.
He is the son of Ferdinand Marcos the brutal dictator who ruled the country from the 60s to the 80s.
The daughter of the current president Rodrigo Duterte was elected Vice President in a separate election.

I think the whole damn world is on Crazy… since the Biden regime. That guy is all about chaos and he wants a war so bad he can taste. Anything for people to forget about his son and Daddy’s China dealings.

I don't know, if it was legal and the people want him, than it's not our place to say. It doesn't necessarily mean his son will be like his father. And I didn't know they elected a Vice President. That's a good idea, we should do that here. I didn't have a problem with Duterte to be honest, so his daughter will probably be good too.

Yeah I agree with this. It's wrong to judge someone by the "sins of the father." We need to see how he will do if he is anything like his father before passing judgement.
